Yes, the Naga Viper, the latest claimant to the world's-hottest-pepper crown, outdistances its predecessor, the Bhut Jolokia, or "ghost chili," by more than 300,000 points on the famous Scoville scale of tongue-scorching chili hotness.

I had severn envelopes filled with spices of Christmas which I bought in Pier 1 last year. One of them ended up on the floor behind a sofa. The envelope opened and the little spices stripped all of the varnish off the floor where it hit! So it isn’t just hot spicy things... I learned a lesson..

I had a friend who ate one and his tear ducts didn’t water...they shot a spray instantly inside his glasses. His body’s reaction was that fast!
