Happy Friday, everyone!
As an early Christmas present from me to you, here's a video of liberal stupidity at its finest.

Sandra Lee, NY's first-girlfriend-elect, aka Andrew Cuomo's main squeeze, has a show where she makes ghastly food from over-priced ready-made ingredients like pre-chopped mushrooms. Here's her "meatloaf" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQKu3PcgYrU
With the Kwanzaa cake she demonstrates a classic liberal multi-culti stupidity. She makes a "cake" by cutting a store bought angelfood cake in half--well, I'll let you see it. The flavor combination is too gross to describe here.
"Aunt Sandy," as she calls herself, obviously doesn't know what Kwanzaa is, or who made it up. It's clear that she thinks it's a real holiday--Christmas for black people!
Good job, New York voters! There's no telling what a dinner at the governor's mansion would be like: - Microwaved hotdogs topped with salsa, grape jelly and cream cheese as an appetizer; store-bought rotisserie chicken on a bed of frozen Tyson chicken nuggets; dessert would just be a tall glass of room temperature VODKA.

Here's Wikipedia's description of Kwanzaa's tenents (breathe deep the collectivism in most of them...): * Umoja (Unity): To strive for and to maintain unity in the family, community, nation, and race. * Kujichagulia (Self-Determination): To define ourselves, name ourselves, create for ourselves, and speak for ourselves. * Ujima (Collective Work and Responsibility): To build and maintain our community together and make our brothers' and sisters' problems our problems, and to solve them together. * Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics): To build and maintain our own stores, shops, and other businesses and to profit from them together. * Nia (Purpose): To make our collective vocation the building and developing of our community in order to restore our people to their traditional greatness. * Kuumba (Creativity): To do always as much as we can, in the way we can, in order to leave our community more beautiful and beneficial than we inherited it. * Imani (Faith): To believe with all our heart in our people, our parents, our teachers, our leaders, and the righteousness and victory of our struggle.

"And by "acorns" she means CORN NUTS which are one step away from doritos. Good gracious who puts corn nuts and apple pie filling on a chocolate cake?! This woman needs to be euthanized
LOL!
I knew she had a cooking show, and I used to wonder how she stayed so skinny. Now I know. Even SHE won’t eat the crappy food she makes!
Why nothing of course. More San Bernadino than Sahara - just like the holiday itself. Thus, Ms. Lee has concocted the perfect Kwanzaa cake, don't 'ya think?
Much like Kwanzaa itself, this cake begs the question: “WTF is it??”
One word, eww.
Matilda Cuomo sneered when she said that Sandra Lee made lasagna with cottage cheese! That Sandra Lee is an innovative cook alright.
What’s’ next Nachos w/a plate of chips a can of chile and cheeze whiz?
LOL
Thanks, FA, I needed the laugh!
My, PING to the worst.cook.ever.
If this ...ummm....woman(see #1 for pic) can have a show on FoodTV network, you should have no problem getting one yourself!
Does it have Chitterling icing?
Bookmark for later enjoyment.
I find her ‘udderly’ ridiculous.
Those photos indicate a failed cooking career has followed a failed boxing career.
Does anyone actually pay attention to the Kwanzaa? It was hot several years ago, but has cooled off considerably. The only people I see with the Kwanzaa are ABC/CBS/NBC new hosts at 5:30CST.
People have this idea about kosher that as long as it doesn't have pork or shellfish that it's "kosher", having no clue about how much though and discipline go into an authentically Jewish meal.
There were a few restaurants in Seoul claiming to be kosher, which started a small controversy when the claims were posted on a food blog in Seoul.
SO I decided I'd investigate further by emailing Chabad's representative in Korea to find out whether there were any kosher restaurants or kosher food manufacturers in Korea or not.
I interviewed Rabbi Litzman, the Chabad Rabbi who is currently living in Seoul, Korea to explain how people are able to keep Jewish dietary laws in Korea.
Rabbi Litzman had a few surprises for me up his sleeve but overall, it was a fun interview.
So, all of that to say I'm not surprised that Sandra Lee would be so dense as to make a Hanukkah cake w/ no certified kosher ingredients.
