Hilarious video: Sandra Lee makes a Kwanzaa cake (NY's First Girlfriend-Elect!)
Youtube; Wikipedia; Ann Coulter.com ^

Happy Friday, everyone!

As an early Christmas present from me to you, here's a video of liberal stupidity at its finest.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=we2iWTJqo98

Sandra Lee, NY's first-girlfriend-elect, aka Andrew Cuomo's main squeeze, has a show where she makes ghastly food from over-priced ready-made ingredients like pre-chopped mushrooms. Here's her "meatloaf" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RQKu3PcgYrU

With the Kwanzaa cake she demonstrates a classic liberal multi-culti stupidity. She makes a "cake" by cutting a store bought angelfood cake in half--well, I'll let you see it. The flavor combination is too gross to describe here.

"Aunt Sandy," as she calls herself, obviously doesn't know what Kwanzaa is, or who made it up. It's clear that she thinks it's a real holiday--Christmas for black people!

Good job, New York voters! There's no telling what a dinner at the governor's mansion would be like: - Microwaved hotdogs topped with salsa, grape jelly and cream cheese as an appetizer; store-bought rotisserie chicken on a bed of frozen Tyson chicken nuggets; dessert would just be a tall glass of room temperature VODKA.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MLrNGIbqn0w

Here's Wikipedia's description of Kwanzaa's tenents (breathe deep the collectivism in most of them...): * Umoja (Unity): To strive for and to maintain unity in the family, community, nation, and race. * Kujichagulia (Self-Determination): To define ourselves, name ourselves, create for ourselves, and speak for ourselves. * Ujima (Collective Work and Responsibility): To build and maintain our community together and make our brothers' and sisters' problems our problems, and to solve them together. * Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics): To build and maintain our own stores, shops, and other businesses and to profit from them together. * Nia (Purpose): To make our collective vocation the building and developing of our community in order to restore our people to their traditional greatness. * Kuumba (Creativity): To do always as much as we can, in the way we can, in order to leave our community more beautiful and beneficial than we inherited it. * Imani (Faith): To believe with all our heart in our people, our parents, our teachers, our leaders, and the righteousness and victory of our struggle.

This video always gives me a good laugh, so I hope you enjoy it. This cake is also widely mocked online, so if you just google "Sandra Lee Kwanzaa Cake" you'll find a barrel of laughs.

Here's her drunken Christmas tree: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LI5e72B_eIc

Happy weekend!

My favorite comment at the link: "Only Sandra Lee would ever think it was a good idea to make a cake entirely out of ingredients you would find at a gas station. " LOL!

She reminds me of instant mashed potatoes.

Looks good at a distance, but when you get right up close you realize that there isn’t a hell of a lot of substance or flavor.

That was hilarious. In two minutes she said, “Here’s a trick” at least twice, probably 3 times. I’ve never seen a Sandra Lee show is it always that paint dry like bad and really, those were corn nuts, not acorns.

I never knew about her and Andy. I have always thought she might have a drinkin’ problem. Every show includes some kind of alcoholic beverage. Now that I know she’s seeing Andy, I understand.

Yep, the Kwaanza cake is Aunt Sandy at her vodka-swillin’ finest! BTW, she also does a Hannukah cake (using no Kosher ingredients) on that same show. On another, she does her version of the beloved New Orleans’s classic, “King’s Cake”...and she makes it with canned breadsticks. o_O

Her worst recipe ever, though? IMHO, it was her Valentine’s Day “pink linen dusting powder”.

From http://sandraleeonline.com/webmagazine/issue_valentine/articles/powder.htm

10 Wonka™ red PixyStix® candy powder straws,Nestlé’s®
2 tbsp powdered sugar, C&H®

Prep time: 5 minutes

PREPARATION:
Empty Pixy Stix® into a bowl.

Add powdered sugar and mix.

Using a fine mesh sieve, sift mixture into another bowl.

Repeat until mix is well combined and dusting powder is even in color.

Apply powder to yourself and the bed sheets with a new makeup brush or power puff. Enjoy!

Yeah, nothing brings the love (and the cockroaches) like pouring pixie stix all over your sheets!

Good Lord, that is one UGLY cake!

I may have found me a new career on the Food Network. I can make an ugly cake out of store bought mixes and icings too!

And a REALLY ugly one from scratch!

OMG I am a pretty good cook and I stupidly purchased one of her cookbooks at a sale. I haven’t make a single recipe of hers that we could eat. It all sucks. Even things you think would taste good together - somehow she screws it up, in my opinion. ;^)

Sandra Lee has made a career of stealing ideas from the back of soup cans and cake boxes. I’ve known more than a few people who could kick her ass in the kitchen with no effort at all.

Acorns are from Oaks. Oaks are not from subsaharan Africa.
Apples are not from Africa, even quite rarely as cultivars.
Commenting about Angelfood can only get me in trouble.
Cinnamon is cultivated in Africa only in the island nation of Madagascar, and there as a result of the South Asian migrations.
Chocolate is not native to Africa, nor is it traditional.

Exactly what about this cake is African?

She makes a "cake" by cutting a store bought angelfood cake..

Used to do that angelfood thing in college. No cutting necessary, just pour as much rum onto it as it will absorb. Mmmm, good eating.
