“Now you don’t have to be an expert here to know that if you shoot someone they are going to go in direction of the bullet...”

Even though your argument seems to make sense, ballistics tests with animals (100 lb goats) indicate that small arms, even shoulder-fired, do not have the expected observable knockdown power. Other ballistics tests even show that bullets fired into melons sometimes induce the melons to roll toward the direction of fire, because the spray exiting the melon exerts a small jet propulsive force. With goats, tests indicated that as many fell toward as away from bullets being fired. Kennedy’s motion after bullet impact would be consistent with a brief contraction of all the muscles of his body, where the stronger array of back muscles would overcome the weaker abdominal muscles to result in a posterior direction arching of the back.

I used to believe that it was a conspiracy. I don't anymore. More recent analysis vindicates the single bullet theory. Oswald did it, alone. We just can't seem to accept that a simple radical could get the job done against the POTUS. That was 1963 though, and if JFK had the the top on the limo, he wouldn't have died....Let it go!

Ditto bro! I used to buy into the whole conspiracy thing until I realized there were many different conspiracy theories, all very compelling, yet not all simultaneously possible.

Yeah I know Ramsey is a Commie and not sure why that came up?

Because he served as LBJ's Attorney General and was involved in the JFK assassination investigation. It just goes to show you how crazy things were then. Unfortunately, things are even worse today with communists in control of the White House.

"William Ramsey Clark (born December 18, 1927) is an American lawyer and former United States Attorney General. He worked for the U.S. Department of Justice, which included service as United States Attorney General from 1967 to 1969, under President Lyndon B. Johnson. Decades later, he was a defense attorney for Slobodan Milosevic and Saddam Hussein."

My backyard is bigger. Seriously. They make this out to be the shot of the century that only the most gifted, talented, and experienced sniper supoprted by the hand of God himself could make such a shot.

A 9 year old with a slingshot could have hit the president.

Not to mention the fact Kennedy was wearing this contraption the day he was shot. It basically held him rigidly upright the entire time and the reflexive movement of him going 'back and to the left' is from loss of motor function and this thing.

The Carcano is a solidly designed bolt action even if not equal to Mausers and Sakos. It is capable of making such shots at a much greater distances than Oswald faced. He was very close to his target with his longest shot under 70 yards. I shoot handguns at much greater distances.

Be careful whenever you find yourself on Oliver Stone’s side.

Oh yeah no doubt about Obama and his crew. However, I am sure some on this board believe that is not true since most politicians in Washington tell them that. Unbelievable!

Ramsey is a communist rat without a doubt.

Hey a broken Clock is right twice a day. Although I do not agree with Oliver’s stone version. At any rate, we can agree to disagree.

Piece of cake, really. I looked out the window of the book depository and could have hit the limo with a rock it was so close.

Ditto that. When I looked out that window I kind of mumbled to myself "hell, this is really close. Most anyone could have made that shot." Some guy standing next to me said he was thinking the same thing.

The photographs make it look like it would have taken some sort of serious expert to do that. But when you are there, you realize just how tragically easy it was.

True enough. I've tramped Dealy Plaza from one end to the other...back and forth...been up to the alleged "sniper's nest" on the 6th floor (tho one is barred from access to the actual spot)...gone in front of, behind, and along the "grassy knoll" and the fence.
And you're correct. From behind that fence, a half blind drunk could have thrown a rock and nailed the Pres in that car. I don't think the distance exceeds 20 yards.
Now...take a suitable handgun, and a decent (or in this case excellent) marksman...and the President was dead. No doubt about it.

I also wonder why...making the huge and unsupportable leap of faith that Ozzie was the "lone gunman"...the "lone gunman - as the alleged assassin - didn't take the fatal shot at the president when the motorcade was coming directly toward him and his window or turned immediately below him. Why did he wait until his target was receding away from him? Just a dumb assassin?? Not a pro??? Or not the assassin at all?
Just as a matter of record...the assassin (professional) behind the fence took the shot when the target was heading right for him/her.

Oswald qualified as a Sharpshooter in USMC basic training. Later on in the ‘Corps, he qualified ‘Marksman’, and then went ‘Unk’ (Unqualified). This happens to Marines, but his initial qual as a ‘Sharpshooter’ was a score about four points shy to qualify ‘Expert’ at the standards of the time on the ‘Known Distance’ range.

What this means is that Lee Harvey Oswald was trained by the USMC to outshoot about 99% of all other American males. The man was an entirely capable rifleman. He wouldn’t have graduated boot camp without being minimally proficient at marksmanship on the ‘Known Distance’ range, yet he scored enough points to win the second highest award.

Most active duty Marines are Sharpshooter-level shooters, the same as Lee Harvey Oswald qualified. If ‘Expert’ was easy and most everyone qualified that high, ‘Expert’ wouldn’t mean anything.

". . . Then tell me about that easy shot that no expert can seem to duplicate."

So...all the normal folk military shartshooters, civilian hunters, law enforcement officers, grandmothers, 12 year old girls, bakers, politicians, illegal immigrants, professional boxers, hip-hop artists, pottery makers, midgets, and a host of other kinds of "normal" folk) can duplicate the alleged shot(s) fired from the 6th floor window on a moving target 2 out of 3 times with ease.
But not one superb, world class pistol marksman can duplicate the kill shot taken from behind the fence????????????????????????

Yeah.....right!

Yo! I'm willin' to jump on your bandwagon...but you gotta put wheels on it first...otherwise, we're goin' nowhere!

like I said the Marines tend to have the most loyal patriot Americans compared to the other services. IMHO

So his shooting skills went down after boot camp and not up. If he unked, then that means he is bad shot. Just like I said earlier.

Interesting bit of trivia: Donald Bellasario, creator and producer of hit TV shows ‘Magnum, PI’, ‘JAG’, and ‘NCIS’, served in the Marines with Oswald.
