For All Warm Fuzzy Wednesday Cat People of Amy's Place


After Action Report





My Pretty One has had a most busy and industrious week
That has been full of Explorations and wondrous games of 'Hide & Seek'
Making use of Shadows as countless packages and bundles were smuggled in
Then made Pretty with Wrappings, Ribbons and Bows amongst the surrounding din

Of lilting music as the lovely Decorations whispered and danced seductively
Taking every bit of my Will Power to not surrender and create a delightful Mess
Though several covert Naps were enjoyed upon them. To that I shall attest
Beneath the shrouded delicious scent of the Shiny, Sparkling Present Day Tree
Whose many tempting Limbs and branches I have learned most intimately




To culminate in a wondrous Bacchanalle to satiate our Senses and Desires
Resulting in copious Empty Boxes and Shredded Paper to start a Cozy Fire
As My Pretty One takes some time for herself to relax on The Big Long Chair
I slowly stretch out and tuck my Ears under her chin which I think is only fair

Dreamily remembering the wonders of these jumbled and fleeting days
As slippery, gaily colored Paper parted beneath my Claws in many intriguing ways
And lovely Bows and satiny Ribbons curled and piled up and dared me to Attack
To create The Battle Of Present Day, as for tempting targets there seemed no lack
Leaving me quite exhausted and contemplating a delicious after Nap Time Snack
