This is what we awakened to this morning. It
started getting bad yesterday and the kids
told me about noon yesterday, "that if
I had anything to do that I had better
get it done."
Of course, I had an errand or so to run
so I got it done and its a good thing
as it got worse during the day, and then this
today! I have not been feeling well so I
didn't get to play yesterday...LOL! I would have
made more pictures but you can't stand up out there.
Don't know how much I will be on today
and can't figure out why I feel so bad.
The temp on the patio is 22 degrees!
Amy and Billie, the opening is so gorgeous this morning!
And I love that song! See you later!

Oh, Meg.
I’m praying that you feel much, much better soon.
Take care of yourself.
Your yard looks so pretty but sooo cccold.

Looks about the same ‘down here’, Jaycee. The wind is howling out there, whipping up drifts. Not big drifts, but drifts. And the ‘snow showers’ are continuing to rake through. Air temp is 21, but with the wind at fifteen to twenty mph, the chill is not safe for us older folks. I’m putting the keetle on for a fresh hot mug of cappucino.

BRRRRRRR it looks so cold out of doors.
Stay warm, rest, and read and sleep. We all need to do this extra resting every few days when possible. Allows us some reflective time with our Lord.

I threw out some birdseed for the ground birds. I heard a commotion out my office window........ a horde of grackles descended and ate it all up in about 10 minutes.
The white throats, elegant towhees and the juncos were left out. Fortunately I had plenty more for them once the greedy horde departed.

Lovely, how peaceful and calm, but not for driving I know. It was in 2004 that my city had over a foot of snow on Christmas eve and day. It was so rare that it was in the National news!!
What great memories I have of that Christmas day.
