Awwwww....thank you for that kitty pic, Jack.
Looks like my Callie when she was little. (She is now with lots of her pals at Rainbow Bridge. A sad demise.)

It is cold, rainy, windy, and miserable in my little part of the world! Here too, and they are forecasting rain through Wednesday. We are going to float away! Haven't seen any California sunshine in weeks.
To: Mama_Bear
They
say we get a break on Thursday and Friday but it returns on Saturday and who knows how long after that.
I don't mind the rain but when it also brings the wind and cold with it...yuk! I am NOT a winter person...gimme warm (not hot) weather!
These ol' bones just can't handle it anymore! :)

It is cold, rainy, raw, and miserable in MY part of the world too!
And I live in a Tropical Paradise!
Algore must be off having his sixth chakra being massaged, because he has not sent us any global warming in a while!
Grrrr.

These ol' bones just can't handle it anymore! :) I hear ya'! Each winter seems colder and longer than the one before. I'd be happy to go from autumn directly to spring.

LOL...he's in hiding cuz he's afraid of winter! Altho, they say, this weather is caused by Gorebull Warming. :)
He is such an idiot! A rich one, but none the less an idiot!
To: Mama_Bear
I'd be happy to go from autumn directly to springI wouldn't mind that at all except, these past few years, we've been going from Summer to Winter and back with Spring and Fall kinda left out of the equation!
To: Jack Deth
Good Afternoon
Thank you, Jack, for your darling kitten and poetry.
Wishing you a blessed Sunday.

Thank you, Teenie!
A Blessed Sunday to you, too!
To: Mama_Bear
"Haven't seen any California sunshine in weeks."Well, we haven't seen any in Arizona, either!
Today, I had to take the mechanism apart to manually open my solar-powered gate.
I wonder what people do who rely totally on solar power for heat?
To: oldteen
Good Afternoon
Thank you , teenie for the lovely fireplace to keep.
everyone warm by..It's 65 in Central Texas.
Wish I could ship today and this next week's weather
here to all..It will be 70s and sunny through Thursday.
Wish also I could store it up for February when it is
really cold!
Wishing you a blessed Sunday

I wonder what people do who rely totally on solar power for heat? Gosh, I don't know. They should have a back-up heating source. I would have thought your solar powered gate would have back-up electricity, or battery, or something. What a pain to have to dismantle it to get your gate open!
To: Mama_Bear
It DOES have a backup battery - that is good for 48 hours. LOL!
To: FRiends
I need a nap!...See you in a while.

Oh, I see! After 48 hours of no sun, you are just out of luck. LOL.
You are probably getting this same storm that has dumped a bunch of rain on Central CA. We are waterlogged. I don't know how we are going to handle four more days of this. Many of the streets in town are flooded. At least our house is not in an area that floods...thank goodness!
To: oldteen
hahaha! You are right!
hey...If I’m so smart,
How come I’M not Rich??????

Have been gone myself, most of the day!
But wanted to thank you all for your lovely Sunday posts!
And yes, like many of you,it's cold and rainy here
and has been for the last several days! This happened while I was gone! :)
To: Jack Deth
What a wonderful story! That could have been me, as I would have rescued her in a minute and provided her a good home, too! :) Thank you, Jack!
To: Mama_Bear; pollywog
I have the weather channel on tv, and it looks really bad in CA, esp. Sierra Nevada Mts. (15 feet of snow!)
We haven’t had sun for probably a week at least. And it’s been a consistant drizzle (which is good.)
Pollywog is taking Amtrack to OR today - and the weather looks pretty nasty - praying for a safe trip for them.
I am really glad you are above the flood zone, Lori!
To: oldteen
Glad you liked her singing, too! I think she’s about 9 or 10 yrs. young! Once in awhile you see on these shows, someone makes an impact, as she did! I hope she keeps on singing!
