I have the weather channel on tv, and it looks really bad in CA, esp. Sierra Nevada Mts. (15 feet of snow!)
We haven’t had sun for probably a week at least. And it’s been a consistant drizzle (which is good.)
Pollywog is taking Amtrack to OR today - and the weather looks pretty nasty - praying for a safe trip for them.
I am really glad you are above the flood zone, Lori!
Oh, I sure hope everyone traveling in these storms gets safely where they are going. We will be traveling too, but we can’t leave until Christmas Eve.
Yes, the Sierra Nevadas are getting hit hard. I just got a message from a friend who lives in the mountains that Friday high winds and rain caused a tree to fall missing his house by 2 feet, but it took out a power line and fried his breakers and caused a small fire in one of his walls. The fire was put out quickly, but the wiring in half his house is completely fried. You know, I used to envy him living in the beautiful mountains with all the wildlife and pretty snow and all. Now, not so much. LOL.
