The one needed 12 stitches in his lip after being hit by an elbow while playing basketball with friends. Poor baby.
Sorry for the triple-play post — I kept getting 500 Service Temp. Unavailable and it looked like it only made it once...;-))
YES!
YES!
YES!
Carolyn returns December 18th for about 3 weeks. We are counting the days, and keeping our fingers crossed that the weather holds for her on her flight into Milwaukee.
Putting up Christmas decorations today; taking advantage of the 40 degree temp.
check one two check check. Is this thing on?
While SU football lost their game the basketball team won.
SU, SU, Strike up the band
SU is the best in the land!
Good afternoon everybody, we made it home last night and have been unpacking, laundering, cleaning up. All in all, a good Thanksgiving. Hope everybody here is well and not too tired of turkey and dressing.
Off to check the news..
I’m glad you’re home safely.
You might want see this, too!
Sorry to hear about Jack’s parakeets. Large or small we love them all. Our parakeet is about 12 years old and he talks up a storm. He barks like a dog and I have heard him crow like our roosters...really!
That just brought tears to my eyes.
I just found out I have been unfriended on Facebook by a Bama fan (although he isn’t a Bama grad). I haven’t smeared Bama or anything. I have supported Newton. Sheesh!
Probably like we were saying on our Auburn thread yesterday.... its the ones who didn't go to Bama who are the most obnoxious! I've had many genuine Bama graduates send me nice notes and state they would be happy if we brought home another trophy to the state of Ala. and the SEC! Was this person an adult? Sounds like a sore-loser *and* a bad sport!
Have you ever heard of Glenn Garrett - the Christian artist (musician)? He was at Auburn when I was there (and when you were, too) He posted that photo on his Facebook page and I loved it! Glad you did, too.
Add another two people who are Bama grads who have defriended me. This is the first time that friendships have been severed because of this. I am really hurt.
Yes! I do remember him quite a bit. IIRC, he wasn’t VERY active with Campus Crusade for Christ, like hubby and I were, but we did encounter him at some of the Bible Studies.
OH ICK. That should be called civet poopy coffee. No wonder one of those women made a horrible face after she tasted it.
Yeah, we had one. Give ‘em the axe, Give ‘em the axe. Give ‘em the axe, Where? Right in the neck, right in the neck, right in the neck there!
LOL!
I’ve been told by coffee drinkers that the bitterness is removed. I’m not a coffee drinker, though, and civet poopy coffee doesn’t entice me in the least.
This isn’t gory, but it is outside of the usual:
Repel them! Repel them!
Make them relinquish the ball!
Next time I get a bad cuppa, I’ll use that phrase, or “OH my that tastes like shivet”.
