Finally back. Went to Mass this morning, then LoM went off to work and I went off to do the thing I hate most — shopping. We met up for lunch, then she went off shopping while I came home. (Mostly because I started feeling less than okay during lunch.)

This worries me, because it may be a precursor to my doing something stupid.

I think it's mostly wind-down. Mostly I just suddenly ran out of energy. This is Day 4 of wind-down and usually it only takes 3, but I've been busy enough to not get completely into vacation mode.

Next year I am getting a vacation in summer, though. There are two meetings I will not be attending which leaves my calendar currently open from sometime in May until mid-September. There are possibilities for meetings in June and late August into early September, though.

2 Bridal magazines, purchased by yours truly, back in 1981, in almost perfect shape!
I am wrapping them for my daughter as a Christmas present.

Heh. Years ago our eldest acquired a photo of me taken by my company in 1981 for a magazine ad, using an electronic machine I had designed. Last month she sent a scanned copy to me to be used in my employer's sales conference along with others' photos from that time (those that are old enough to have been photographed back then -- there were some baby photos in the mix and it's funny that some are readily identifiable).

Although I've essentially not changed my appearance in that time (other than involuntary change of hair color), a co-worker for the past 15 years didn't recognize my photo.

I was thinking of taking them to work tomorrow to make a few scans before I gift them. ;-)

I figured now would be the right time to make my girl an album of her life, so I’ve been going through pictures and memorabilia for the last week +.
I found her first shoes.
