I am starting a project and want to know if someone would like to help me do it. Once started we can develop a reset button for this economic structure.
Tomorrow then. Sleep well, ‘Face! Our prayers go with you this aye night.
‘Night here. There’s a show on PBS of ladies performing a variety of Jewish songs in San Francisco, and Anoreth said, reasonably, “OMG, the reek of liberalism!” and retired. I said, “Kinda cool music, and I wish I had the (long, white) hair of the lady second from left ...” but we’re reaching retirement for all, except the catz who are having a dispute about Shannon’s being older and smarter but Jake’s being bigger.
Sigh. I hold this dispute with Bill.
LOL!
That cat just LOOKS like it’s having fun!
My catz were just offended by the snow.
I hope the last day of 2010 passes without cat-astrophe for you ladies ;-).
:) Happy New Year!
I’ve had six months’ worth of cat-astrostrokes, so I’m optimistic about the last 18 hours of the year.
:o]
Happy New Year to you, as well!!
:o]
If you sit very still ...
With the wind chill, it’s 9 degrees outside. Wish Tom were here...then he’d know how cold LV is!! LOL!
Of course...I probably won’t leave the house until tomorrow.
Urk. 33 and cloudy here, no wind. I made a trek to the mailbox ;-).
I’ll probably go to the gym later, maybe in the afternoon so I can drop some kids at the movie.
Like I said...I probably won’t leave the house until tomorrow, because I just don’t want to fight that cold wind.
Walking out to the mailboxes is taking on an entirely new meaning. Some of the sidewalks are torn up, fenced off, or curing, the parking lots are doubling as storage for the dumpsters that are holding the debris, and heavy equipment is everywhere. I’m not excited about the “upgrades.”
There is a meeting this morning that I have to attend, about the laundry room. Something tells me I’m not going to be happy.
Maybe there’s a laundromat with pickup and delivery service, like a diaper service.
I’m baking eggplant to make baba-ganous for vegetable dip. And here is Tom, having finally achieved verticality.
There is a laundry with pick-up, fluff and fold and delivery, but I don’t know if I can afford it. I’ll have to check them out. I thought about it earlier in the week when I was there doing my dainties, but only the cleaning guy was there.
I’m a little leery of services like that, because when I first got sick, I had a laundry service. They stole a new down jacket and cut the top of an almost new quilt. I still get upset when I think of that jacket...
Well that stinks. Maybe you'll get good news about your laundry room at your meeting, after all.
DP and Pat are fixing a broken drawer in the kitchen, and then I'm going to take a batch of Complaints to the gym.
What I’ve heard from the Resident Council president is not encouraging. The door that separated the laundry area from the common room is no longer there, meaning the laundry room cannot be open-access any more. I have a key for the old one, which meant that I could go at 4:00 am if I wanted. And I was not alone in that. Lots of folks were there early, and lots were there late in the evening and even around midnight.
