Romney is an unrepentant abortionist/statist lying political whore! Just to be absolutely clear, there will never ever be a RINO Romney campaign on FR!! Those statments make me worry that FreeRepublic is moving toward a DemocratUnderground kind of stance toward their users. Romney may have done some mistakes like Health Car but I have constantly heard him say that universal helath care was a mistake. If I'm wrong, so what. Lets not kick good Republicans off this site because of their views on abortion and Mitt Romney. Look, if someone says something good about Romney, fine. State your point and try to change that person's views. We are not kicking them off the site! That is DemocratUnderground style dumb. It's what they do.

Seems to me that there used to be some way of setting the time shown in the bottom of the posts, but I went through my account settings and all and can’t find it anymore.
I like having it set to my timezone. Could be they do it automatically now cause it is showing EST as it is here, and not PST like FReepmail shows.

Maybe so, but you'll get on a lot better on this board if you back down as a noob.
The people whose faces you're getting in are old timers with a good solid track record of conservative posting. Attacking someone like that, being a noob is not the way to win friends and influence people. It does not establish you as a conservative from the start and does give people the suspicion that you're a troll or retread.
Nobody is impressed with claimed credentials, either. Posting history is what establishes a persons credibility here.

Wouldn't it have been nicer to say that LJ misunderstood? As a new signup, you need to be careful. Bite the wrong person and it could cause a LOT of trouble and name calling like "TROLL!" We don't want that.
Well, it's all screwed up and will be until they get things straightened out with programs and equipment. The "Activity" tab on the forum doesn't work either but we did get our state flags back.

The Activity Tab shows what threads are active and the posts. But that program was slimed.
I used to be quick like that. Then I got older and too tired to bite. Takes too much energy! ;-)
I do believe the TP should remain apolitical on social issues because the premise of the TP was and has always been just a tri-fold platform... small government, low taxes, free marketplace.
