I have voted for Bristol all along - she is the only true amateur and has done well. However, Jennifer is clearly the best dancer left.

Going to vote for merit - we hate it when the other side chooses politically approved favorites.

Never watched, don’t intend to do so. But seriously, how many folks of a conservative bent are the kind to cast a talent show vote based on political preferences rather than the quality of the performance? Libs, yes, but us, not so much.

I absolutely LOVE your response! I laughed so loud my husband came in here to see what I was reading - he said “good job” to you as well!

DWTS has been one of the better shows on TV over the last several years and I don’t really picture Bristol Palin competing with some of the people who’ve looked good on the thing. No political group is doing themselves any favors by monkeying with this one.

This DWTS sure has the libtards stirred up! Thanks to AZ.44mag for da ping!

FREEP THIS POLL ***PING!*** FRmail me if you want to be added or removed from the Fearless Poll-Freeping Freepers Ping list. And be sure to ping me to any polls that need Freepin', if I miss them. (looks like a medium volume list) (gordongekko909, founder of the pinglist, stays on the list until his ghost signs up for the list)

Bristol a poll dancer? No way!

Now that guy in Wisconsin who shot up his family's television and held the police at bay for fifteen hours is definitely bipolar.

Sometimes I wish I could dress up in those fancy costumes and go out there and dance around.

Isn’t this supposed to be an amateur contest? Jennifer Grey is a trained dancer (Dirty Dancing star). I stopped watching when Yamaguchi was in it (also a trained dancer). Didn’t an Osmond win—they’ve been on the stage forever. It should either be an amateur contest or not.

Wow, who knew the voting on these things didn’t necessarily pick the person with the most talent? I’m....shocked. Next Ms. Gutierrez will assert that the election of Class President is really a popularity contest.

Not Bristol; ‘Brandy’ sounds like a pole dancer to me. Not that I’ve ever been in ‘that kind’ of place. :)

How about this?

Other FReepers have the same right to post what they want to as you do!

If you do't like it, don't go there.

Who do you think you are? Jim Robinson?

I agree with you and I cannot believe everyone here is doing what they hate - voting for someone with less talent simply because the young woman is related to a controversial figure. If the shoe was on the other foot and it was one of Obama’s daughters and the girl could not dance as well as the others, then everyone here would be going crazy if she stayed in.

I feel for Brandy since she has more ability than Bristol and she worked very hard for it.

Since when do conservatives back someone with less ability? I thought we stood for merit-based promotions regardless of color, creed, or politics?

I suspect the voters who wanted Bristol out the most voted for Kyle to keep him in thinking that the vote would come down between Kyle and Bristol. By voting for Kyle they must have believed this would cause Bristol to lose. But they took their votes away from the much better talented Brandy. Bristol was not in the bottom two so they chose the wrong dancer - Kyle should have lost not Brandy. Regardless, I never believe in voting for the lesser dancer for what ever reason.

This attitude displayed here reminds me of all these people who voted for Obama simply because they would cast their vote for the first black president. There really is no difference.

my 2 cents.

Wonderful remarks!!

Bristol was working as a receptionist and they called HER to come on the show. They KNEW she had no dancing experience! Look how many fools voted in a pResident with no experience!!!!!! Same deal only dancing with the stars isn’t going to ruin the country.

Lieberals are scared to death of the Palins and this shows how many people are willing to vote for a Palin any chance they get.......WooHooo...let’s all find out how to vote so whe wins the whole shebang!
BTW, I never watched the show until Warner and Palin were on it.

ROFLOL. I only watched the first time Bristol was on, and just out of curiosity. I just don't like any of these type shows, including American Idol.

However, with that said...the writer of the article needs to deal with it. It is only a stupid TV show, not anything significant. And, when it comes to things not "fair" as most of life is not fair, anyway...

Remember this: Barack Obama won the Nobel Peace prize for doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO PROMOTE PEACE. And he didn't even dance. (Oh, I forgot, he is half black, so we can't complain that prize certainly wasn't fair, can we?) Maybe Brandy just should have said she was a great dancer, and promised to do the best...that is the way Barack won.

I only dance at weddings where the booze is free.

Kyle and Bristol are pretty much the same caliber as what I saw on the Mickey Mouse Club.

DWTS is an amateur and pro as a team. Kyle and Bristol didn't learn a thing. They're awkward and bland. Shaking your booty does not a dancer make.

So why did the judges bow to them??

RATINGS!!!!!

Onyx posts a thread every week. She’ll tell you how.

I think it’s hilarious and, yes, I a guilty multi-voter.

Did you see the story wherein the man shot his television because he got so mad about Bristol? Ha.
