One Tuesday Obama was playing a round of golf with members of the liberal media at his side and House Democrats and Independent Obama voters watching from the stands.

At each hole when Obama hit the ball off the tee, it would hook way left into the trees and Katie Couric, Matt Lauer, Keith Olbermann, etc would immediately run out of the woods and drop a ball in the hole. The House Democrats in the stands would rise to their feet and cheer as Obama took credit for his hole-in-one. The crowd of Independent Obama voters began to thin out after each successive hole-in-one.

After making his eighteenth hole-in-one, Obama turned to the House Democrats and the very few Independent Obama voters in time to see a huge tidal wave crash down on them and pull them out to sea. As the water receded the stands were now filled with new Republicans and a few Democrats from each coast who knew how to swim.

Lauer asked Obama, "What are you going to do now, Mr. President?" Obama thought for a moment and said, "Well, I'll moderate." Couric asked, "How so?"

Obama said, "I'll hit the ball from the tee and Olbermann, you drop your ball about halfway on the fairway. After I hit that one, Williams, you drop yours in the hole. People probably don't understand a hole-in-one as much as a hole-in-two. It's more work for me, but that's ok."

Olbermann asked, "You want me call MSNBC and see if they're done with that bigger tank in case that wave comes back?"

Obama looked at the members of the media and replied, "No, just keep those buckets you've been using to carry my water ready."
