Not only did Tokyo Rove predict it he helped make it happen. Along with Charles Krauthammer he was more effective at deep sixing O’Donnell than the Democratic machine. I am so over RHINO Rove.

The sad thing is this. I’m not a troll.

Karl Rove did not predict anything. He worked for the defeat of Tea Party candidates. He is probably behind the RINO in NV who endorsed Dirty Harry.

Personally, and i’m sure many others feel the same way,i don’t care that we lost the seat. The Republican insiders have to know we get a seat at the table as well or they get nothing. This election, the Tea Party movement was about far more than winning races,it was about having people more ideologically aligned with conservatives. We may be closer in spirit to the Republican Party but they are not even close to perfect, only a little more so after the last election.
There’s no question O’Donnell was not a great candidate for her state. There’s no question Millers campaign was not well run. Yes Angle shot herself in the foot a few times at the start of her campaign. The point is,while we would have loved to have gotten those candidates elected,we would rather lose a few races than let the Republican Party continue to shove their idea of what a candidate should be down our throats.
I’ll give you that Rove was correct from his point of view but as an insider himself what he also saw was power slipping from the party bosses even as they had a great election. That’s what the election was about. That’s what those candidates were about.

****We cannot hope to change policy without winning elections.****

We have gained a tremendous amount of support for conservatism because Obama is in office. Right now we stand a good chance of blocking some stuff that would be very damaging for our country.

Eventually it will become enough of a change to get real conservatives in positions to change policy. All because McCain did not win the election. Winning isn’t everything.

Rove was probably the idiot who told Bush II not to do anything about the invasion of Illegals from Mexico.

If anyone ever was a RINO Troll, its this guy.

Rove was instrumental in perpetuating the career of Arlen Spector in PA. Amazingly, Rick Santorum joined in the Spectorfest to deprive Toomey of a Senate seat back in 04. Rove calls himself a conservative but he is not a principled conservative in any sense. Put an R beside your name and go along with his advice and anything else doesnt matter. Look at Lincoln Chaffee for one example. Rove needs to go away.

This is a classic GOP Establishment ‘consultant’ poster: signs up the day of the 2008 election, starts a few inocuous threads over a few months and then comes out with exactly two positions: 1) bashing Palin and 2) defending Rove re: COD.

I think that’s all we need to know.

Gandhi was a socialist jerkass and you are a nincompoop. I don’t understand your motivation in posting this tripe.

Buck and Angle’s issues actually predated O’Donnell winning the GOP primary in Delaware. Angle in particular was a bad choice in the primary.

BTW what did you think when your hero endorsed Dede Scuzzobama for Congress in NY?

Maybe, maybe not. There was clearly polling indicating Castle couldn’t win either.

However, his continued rant over O’Donnel is not something to simply let pass. He clearly worked to prove he would be right. He put his interests above all else (except maybe RINOism).

What was demonstrated is that the time for simply accepting RINOs (ala McCain) as a candidate is OVER. No more choosing a slower conversion to socialism.

I would rather have another soldier in the opposing army than a Benedict Arnold in my midst.

So you want to concede that the Brown Shirt Media can cripple a candidate if they are conservative? Not me. Truth is: Reps would have taken ANOTHER beating if the Tea Party hadn’t saved their butt. For the damn RINOs to bitch about Castle and Murkowski at this juncture just makes me want more RINO blood.

“Personally, I think O'Donnell cost real conservatives senate seats.”

Personally, I think that old line GOP resistance to the Tea Party, resistance that ranged from failure to make common cause to failure to provide funding, to ridicule, to campaigning outright for the defeat of a Tea Party candidate who won the GOP primary.

Here in my corner New York State there are several examples of GOP establishment doing “all of the above” in our local State Senate and Assembly races, to some extent in the Governor's race, and I suspect in other political contests around the state. I'm proud to say that Greg Ball and Steve Katz won their respective contests for State Senator and Assemblyman despite active interference by the state GOP establishment.

Rove, Romney and Cornyn are SOLELY responsible for the loses.

They are backstabbing bastards who attempted to steal money
and elections
from the Tea Party for the saboteur Mitt Romney.

“Go Mitt. Go Mitt. Go Mitt.”

“Rove is pushing Romney so aggressively some folks are beginning to wonder what's going on,” grumbled one veteran Republican strategist.”

“Rove has made no secret of his support for Romney as McCain’s VP. ”

Not too soon.

Romney enjoys plausible deniability since his
assassins against Gov. Palin and her children
are paid and rewarded behind the scenes.

If Romney is the HERPES of the GOP, Rove is now
the HIV of the GOP. They must be removed like
an abcess or cancer that they truly are.

An astute observation that a West Coast Republican is an East Coast Liberal.... That is why John McCain fits in so well in liberal Washington.

We have to remember that politics IS Local, even though the Party Aparatus' spans the Nation. It is critical, me thinks, that we have room to allow an occasional RINO since they are always from a LIB State into the Republican Party as the OCCASIONAL Republican Vote at roll call is better than nothing at all; the States from which a RINO comes would have been better served to elect a Democrat - not saying but implying that something WE Conservatives should accept the Best Candidate offered in each LOCAL election.

Had Karl Rove advised Christine O'Donnell (and Angle) instead of bashing her she might quite easily have won. Her opponent is a Marxist, a weirdo, and an absolute kook.

Rove has made millions from the GOP. The very least he can do is when he does not like a candidate who wins a primary is STFU while he awaits orders.

If you were represented by an ad agency who bad-mouthed your company's products, what would you do?

O’Donnell cost us seats

Failure to take the Senate, when it was quite possible, has to be the responsibility of the NRCC, The RNC, and Karl Rove. Karl is a hired hand. Not the foreman. Leaders do not take orders from the help. Especially with the track record this pompous Rove anus has.
