Hello!
The dust is still settling after the large election upheaval last Tues. The post mortems continue.
I think Bob Tyrrell's piece gave me the biggest laugh, tho: he described Dems in denial, unable to leave their leadership offices and posts, and the Rs having to use stun guns and the like to move them.
I'll link it below.

It was into the 30s here last night. Hubby and I still had our windows wide open. I shut the vent to the room so the rest of the house stays at 65, but that room is cold!

Frightening cartoon. I pray that future generations won't experience any of that.
Great find. I'm emailing this to others.

Thank you. Good morning.
We celebrated last night with fish dinners and music. Sarah and John went with us. It was fun.

It is absolutely beautiful and while, yes, I do live surrounded by beauty, that is not my home. That is on a lake in Wisconsin. I live in Auburn, AL and in Sentani, Papua, Indonesia. Both homes have a large garden around them. Flowers are fundamental.

From the Washington Times piece, Obama said, " It's a matter of persuading people. And giving them confidence and bringing them together."
Persuading people? Don't you mean conning people? You truly don't get it. You work for us 0. We tell you what to do. Get ready. If you think you had it hard the past two years, just wait for the next two. I hope we have you sitting in a corner sucking your thumb.

Congress critters can be like children. If they don’t hear from us often, reminding them to do what is right, they’ll assume we don’t care anymore.

Palin’s been called a lot worse and by better women than Peggy Noonan. Who has finally made herself completely irrelevant.
I’ll have to look for that article, good morning everybody. We are getting a new slightly larger freezer this morning, so will be gone to town for a few hours.
Dolly, did I read it’s your birthday? Happy Birthday!

Love the article.
How is incoming Speaker of the House John Boehner going to deal with her when he arrives at her office? He may need a tranquilizer gun.
Can I do it? Can I... can I? Six,seven, eight shots? Aww c'mon... please!

Happy Birthday... and good morning.
It is such a breath of fresh air to wake up to a state that turned decisively red on election day. I wore a red shirt the day after the election, but I don't think any of my colleagues had a clue as to why I wore it. A lot of sad faces, but a few of us were just beaming!
