Cool. Will check it out. I usually use Handbrake, ffmeg, VideoLAN, and other open source tools for ripping and playing videos, but its always nice to have options.

I usually use MPEG Streamclip, but I’ll look at the tool, as well.

I’ve been trying Handbrake, but I can’t get the files to open in Quicktime or Roxio Toast.

I've been happy using Redux, costs nothing, but I suppose only covers the most common format.

If it was full of Trojan horses, I'm confident that someone savvy enough to build a computer app might also spend the $20 to get a US host, and throw the likes of internet detectives like you off their trail of deceit.

I’m happy with my open source stuff, but I’m always willing to try something new. I’ll download and wait and see if other people scream about it being a trojan before I install it.
