An angry dispute that ended with a local man being charged with a felony aggravated assault began when he and the woman he was with threw a muffin at each other, San Antonio police said.
Vicente Cerna, 27, was ordered jailed on $50,000 bail Tuesday after an incident at the woman's apartment in the 3500 block of South Gevers.
The woman initially let Cerna, who was intoxicated and verbally abusive, into her apartment so he could sleep on her couch Monday night, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.
Tuesday, an argument began when he would not leave, the woman told police, and it escalated when he threw a muffin, which struck her in the head.
She threw it back at him, triggering what a police report termed a physical fight.
Before leaving, Cerna pulled a handgun and threatened to shoot her in the leg, which led to the filing of the felony charge. The woman was otherwise uninjured.
Gotta love it! (that’s what I was refering to!)
What city? I met a hot redhead nicknamed "Muffin" in college. She preferred the formal nickname and didn't answer to "Muff" or "Muffy."
Kramer and Elaine tried that. Even the homeless didn't want them.

Did you try Betty White’s muffin?

ROFL. That’s exactly what my post was getting at.
The same thing happened to me. I suggested to my wife that we try a muffin exchange with the couple down the street. Then she pulled out a gun and said no.
Muffin stumps or muffin tops?
Sounds like this Cerna guy really muffed it. [yukka, yukka]
"he said muffin cabbage"
"Perp has been spotted at Drury Lane!"
Use them as seedlings for the next crop of muffintops.
PERFECT!!! I never thought of that!! How much watering do they need? Fertilizer?? What kind of critters eat the sprouts? When's the best time to plant? When are they ready for picking? Can one raise "hybrids" (you know...a peanutbutter/carmel muffin)? What kinds of garden pests must one control?
So many questions for a perfect idea!!
We need a gardening expert here! Maybe "Diana in Wisconsin" could help?
