Ok, I voted at 6:31am ET and am checking in! I was going to shave before I went but I thought about it and decided showing up looking like a Visigoth was more apropos.. :)
I will be voting within the next 2 hours. Then will return home and party all day and night as I watch the returns.
I have voted. It looks like a big turn out here in Northern VA.
He’s #1 on my shi’ite list - I so want to see Feingold GONE!
I to wanted to vote directly for the repub who has a good chance of getting rid of our dem rep here in PA 10.
I was voter # 10 at our small town precinct.
Voted early here in Georgia. Turnout was brisk in my Republican-leaning precinct a week before the election. Didn’t seem like there were a lot of 0bots voting like in ‘08. Let’s leave it at that.
Already early voted. Put out signs last night and worked phones@Republican Headquarters. Working and phones again@5:00pm. Its going to be a Great Day!!
I am with ya! As soon as noon rolls around here I am going to buy some beer, and ice for the cooler.. I would like to buy one of those viking helmets with the horns on it and then watch the results drinking my beer out of a big steel tankard. :P Oh well, I will settle for blue jeans, popcorn and beer in a can. :D THE VISIGOTHS ARE AT THE GATES!!
Your polls open early. Ours (in PA) didn’t open until 7AM.
I voted on my way to work and was #2. I only saw two other voters while I was there, but it should pick up later.
I do get some strange looks at times, but young women seem to like the look. Wish I could take advantage of it but at 64 years old I dont feel like dating women in their 20s.
I’ve lived at my same address here in CT for 30 years and have never seen so many people/cars in a mid-year election — praying it’s a sign of great things to come tonight when the polls close and our results are in. Felt great, wishing everyone well today and praying that CT stuns the nation by becoming a red state!!!
I was the first to get a ballot, but another gal beat me as the first vote cast. Mine was second.
6 people in line out in the cold waiting to vote in a very small town. < 2000
We early voted two weeks ago via paper ballot in Mt. Holly, NC. I don’t trust the absentee ballot mail-in option.
Me neither. I never trust early voting!
Reports of MASSIVE turnout in Massachusetts.
Am listening to Boston radio and they are getting reports of the biggest turnout people have seen in a long time.
Voter turnout was heavy for the election that got Scott Brown the old Ted Kennedy seat...
I really like the old machines - to commit fraud, they would have to adjust EACH machine. Now, it’s just programming.
We mailed our ballots in last week from here in Texas - registered, so we’d at least know when they were received.
God bless the USA!
ha! i kicked him out at 6 am! waited in line behind 25 people at Fair Hill elementary school to vote at 6 am. Our neighborhood has never had political signage in yards the 12 years we have lived in this house. 4 yards with Fimian signs this week and not a single Connolly.
Arrived at my voting site promptly at 6AM. While there is a heavy thunderstorm happening and will be all day, turnout was quite lively for very early here in Lousiana. Should be a very interesting and surreal day.
Programmed and reprogrammed.
So much opportunity for fraud and I’m sure it was designed that way.
Polls opened here 15 minutes ago and I’m already back home with a fresh cup of coffee on my couch with laptop in lap.
There must have been some major early voting. The line at my precinct should have been 3 times longer and was during the primaries but not today.
That is why I am a firm believer that there should ALWAYS be a piece of paper to represent each vote. You cannot reprogram a paper trail..
