Ok, I voted at 6:31am ET and am checking in! I was going to shave before I went but I thought about it and decided showing up looking like a Visigoth was more apropos.. :)
I usually go first thing in the morning but I’ve decided to savor this one.
I was about the 6th in line, but first in my district to vote at 6:07 this am.
I voted at 6:20. The new voting machines the have here in KY are complicated and confusing....bet they get a lot of complaints.
Voting after work tonite, I will probably smell like a visigoth.
Me, too.
I live in Boston, about 50 feet from the Old North Church. Am wondering if I should go down to the Tea Party site, then stroll back, take my time, and then vote...
Choices, choices...
My husband went in to vote this morning on the new computer machines, that were forced on us by the government, and error messages were coming up. The poll workers were on the phone with the techs when he left.
I am on my way to work at one precinct. I have already voted (early voting).
Today was the first time I used these new ballots. I myself did not have a problem and the machine accepted it. I dunno, at least there is a paper trail now which was the only thing I did not like about the old machines.
My wife and I voted absentee this year because she’s due this week with our first child. We were afraid we might be in the delivery room today.
Voting absentee makes me nervous and I like the atmosphere of my very Republican polling place.
Voted.
Congrats TSgt! We are also expecting our 4th any day now.. Our hospital is pretty close to the polling place so I knew worst came to worst I could vote lol!
I don’t like the new voting machines either. Anybody standing near you can see what you marked on the ballot plus the other way was a lot quicker.
I live in a tiny town of only about 150 people or so. I can’t see the polling place from where I am but there’s a lot more traffic in town than normal this morning.
I was #31 at my polling place this AM.
It’s gonna be a great day!
It was so much quicker the other way.
My kids have off from school so I’m letting my wife sleep in and vote at 8ish. Going to the Eric Cantor Victory Party tonight!
On our way out now. We are hoping it is crowded. Won’t be able to report back until tonight after work.
It’s dawn, attack!!!!
Just about the time I hit my polls up here in CT.
Amen on the absentee, and I’ll throw in early voting makes me nervous as well. There is enough opportunity for shenanigans with one day voting much less “making it easy” for people to vote.
