Election Week has arrived, and with it we hope ~~real hope ~~ the beginning of a return to sanity.

So many races to follow after many days of effort.

I think that with very few exceptions we can be proud of our side and the campaigns waged on principle and ideas, and many small contributions from many different sources. It's been amazing!

I would think your sunrise would wake me up but, I can't get use to Greg's retirement and the change of seasons. I'll be all messed up next weekend when we change the clocks.

For once I’m not looking forward to that because I often wake up between 0330 and 0430. It will take some time to make that adjustment.

Good Morning! It’s overcast this morning, but the weather is suppose to ‘hold’ and be decent thru Wednesday.

I’m thinking we’ll have some pick ups on our side in IL. The state is broke. Normal people should realize that since there are no Pubbies in state government leadership right now, maybe it’s the Dems fault that we’re broke, but, alas, too many are clueless and uninformed.
However, it looks pretty good for Brady for Governor and Kirk for Senate, barring too much cheating. Kirk has been a rino, but I’m hoping he’ll see the light with so many Conservatives being swept in. At least he’d be better than Gianoulious (sp). G would make things so much worse for us.
Hultgren might have a chance against the Dem, Foster, who took Hastert’s seat six years ago. I see way more Hultgren signs than Foster signs.........but we’re in the burbs. Cook County will go big for Foster.
