Would Jerry Jones Please Fire Wade Phillips? I Can't Take Much More of This!

The Cowboys are playing beyond awful this season but today's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars is torture. Has a team ever in its history under-performed this much? There were expectations (real good one's ) that Dallas was going to host their own Super Bowl.
So the question is...will Jerry Jones fire Wade before the season is up? Ditto for Garrett? Us Cowboys fans can't take this any longer.

How about we trade Mike Singletary for Wade and throw in two former number 1 overall draft picks?

They are horrible. I had such high hopes for this group, particularly the defense. They can’t stop a crappy Jax team from doing whatever they want. Unreal. Bring in Cowher.

This is so great. The dallas midgets in the same division as the NY GIANTS.

Is Romo playing today? Mo, he's out for several weeks due to a clavicle injury. Jon Kitna is the backup QB and is in.

Jerry Jones should fire himself at self-anointed GM and his crew of yes-men children and relatives he’s stocked the front office with.
That’s the real reason the Cowboys will continue to suck, not the coaching.
There is a reason Jones won’t fire Phillips. Because no self respecting coach who expects to have a say in what players get drafted or signed is going to want to ruin their careers in Dallas.

His ego is bigger than that stadium. If he never got rid of Jimmy Johnson He would of had several super bowl rings on each finger. He is the strangest owner of a team in history. He hits and misses with certain decisions that over all come up short. I saw a video on him. He looks like he is too close then thinks he is the wisest of all.
Even George Steinbrenner at least had something to show in baseball. He was a hump head but much smarter. Several wins in a row. Jerry should just sit more in the fan chair then operations.

Yep...great business man...horrible football man. As I said in my other post...I understand his football knowledge and college football history. He is just building an empire of nothing right now. I have been a fan since age 3...I am 36 now...I feel like we are going in reverse again.

Has a team ever in its history under-performed this much? Let's make this an ecumenical NFL thread on firing coaches. My vote is against Jr. Hoody in Denver. Oakland 59 Denver 14. I feel your pain.

Amen! I turned it off when it went to 28-3. Has it gotten worse? And can I add that Jerry Jones is the owner from hell?

If Jones would give the coach some power things might change, otherwise it doesn’t really matter who the coach is.

I prefer you fire Jerry Jones.

Your comment reminds me of the report I read yesterday. The Florida Marlins owner Jeff Loria offered Marlins top prospect and future hall of famer at this point Mike Stanton to the Chicago White Sox in exchange for Ozzie Guillen. They wanted to trade one of their top players for a manager.
This is professional sports today. Stupidity.

I’m watching the NASCAR race because I know the Cowboys are not to be watched. I heard on the news that tickets were going for $15.00 this morning on StubHub.

I get it...Jerry loves the team...he loves the business...he has a football history to him. I get it. But...he really needs to let go and let people do their jobs and those people need to be the RIGHT people. The wrong people are all over this team. In my opinion, that's correct on all levels and identifies what's wrong. It starts at the top. Maybe the humiliation of this dreadful season will allow Jerry Jones to realize that he's the problem with this franchise.
