Would Jerry Jones Please Fire Wade Phillips? I Can't Take Much More of This!
FOX | 10-31-10 | my favorite headache

The Cowboys are playing beyond awful this season but today's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars is torture. Has a team ever in its history under-performed this much? There were expectations (real good one's ) that Dallas was going to host their own Super Bowl.

So the question is...will Jerry Jones fire Wade before the season is up? Ditto for Garrett? Us Cowboys fans can't take this any longer.

It sucks when your team is that bad. Watch the Rangers. At least they are playing for a chamionship in their stadium.

Wow, are we getting our asses handed to us again? I didn’t even bother to see when the game was gonna be on this week. Watching horror movies all day(at least the ones I’m watching aren’t real lol).

28-3 now...I am so miserable. I have the flu and am watching them be destroyed by a B-rated team.

The crowd is chanting Let’s Go Rangers now.

Last night during the Ranger’s game, there was a sign in the stands that said to let one of the pitchers play quarterback today - it would work out better!

Wade and Garrett are truly horrible. Wade in particular should have been fired years ago. Unfortunately, with the lockout looming, Jerry will probably keep the coaching staff as is. Jerry is stubborn and Wade is his yes man.

Look at it this way, at least it didn't take long to find out the season would be a write off. No late December let downs this year. It can only get better lol.

The thing that has driven me nuts in the past 3 drafts has been Dallas ignoring top QB prospects. I told my brother they should have grabbed Tebow...just should have done it. Romo is not the answer either.

Jerry better start setting standards here...this is out of control. People need to be fired...messages need to be sent.

As a Steeler fan since the late 60’s I’m quite used to seeing Dallas get beat. That’s something we did every time Bradshaw played them. Now the rest of the league is joining in! Too bad Cryboys.

Oh Dear. I’m not watching . . . is Romo playing today? Waiting for the Tennessee Titans @ 3:00.

Go RANGERS!

Wade Phillips is just a symptom. We need to get rid of Jerry Jones! He ran off Jimmy Johnson, because he couldn’t stand anyone in the Cowboys organization getting more media attention than himself. I’d sure hate to have bought a $100,000 seat licence for a couple of seats at the new Cowboys stadium.

The first person who should be fired is Jerry Jones himself, the Cowboys will never be good again unless he lets the coaches do the coaching and he just worries about the finances.

That seems to be the feeling with everyone on why he hasn’t made any moves. I spent a few weeks in Arlington and some other local towns in TX visiting friends and all of them all the way up to Oklahoma were saying that Jerry just is not allowing the flow of decisions to run correctly and that the team could be in bigger trouble for the next 2 to 3 seasons and that some believe their chances of being a Super Bowl team become more dim each year now as internal struggles grow worse.

I get it...Jerry loves the team...he loves the business...he has a football history to him. I get it. But...he really needs to let go and let people do their jobs and those people need to be the RIGHT people. The wrong people are all over this team.

Jacksonville has looked like the deadest, least caring, least inspired team in the NFL this season. Until today. The Cowboys make them look like the '66 Packers.

Jerry Jones has not a clue of what he's doing. He's an embarrasment to Dallas, to the Cowboys legacy, and to the NFL in general.

Any casual football fan could tell you that Wade Phillips is NOT head coaching material in the NFL. The problem with Jerry Jones is that he has less of a "feel", "instinct", or "common sense" of football than the average couch potato football fan, so Jones makes one stupid move after another. He's too stubborn to admit when he's wrong, so he compounds one dumb mistake with another by dragging it out.

Hey, Jerry, I know just what the team needs! How about drafting a option QB in the first round that would not make it as a free agent on anyone else's roster?! Or, how about finding the biggest, love-me-some-me, walking-and-walking locker room disruption, who has destroyed numerous team chemistries in his past and bring him to Dallas?! Or, how about finding some mumbling, sad-looking clown who couldn't inspire someone to fall out of bed in the morning (much less play hard in a football game) and make him your head coach?!

Oh wait, sorry Jerry, you've already tried all of those "great" ideas. Never mind.
