I nearly choked on my coffee when I read that Obama thinks Pelosi will go down as one of the finest speakers in the U.S. Whatever he's drinking I don't want any. It makes people delusional. Reid must drink the same. Why else would he think that "but for him" we'd be in a depression?
Fig Newtons are among my favorite cookies. I’d stop buying them, too, except I haven’t had any in years, maybe decades. But, I really really do love ‘em.
That is actually why I haven’t eaten any in a long time. Once I start, half the bag will be gone quickly. It’s easier to say no to all than to stop after one or two.
Now that’s class and humor combined.
We’ll have to lear how to make them. Anyone with an Amish cookbook? They make a lot of things. Guess I’ll have to check the puter and see if they have a recipt.
lear, should be LEARN. proof rede, prufe rede.
I Love This Woman! Great gesture!
Breaking News on FR has Joy’s continued insulting of Angle after receiving the flowers.
HI MKH, haven’t seen you around lately. How goes? Are you hanging in there OK during this last week?
Day: Saturday
Date: Oct. 30, 2010

I thought they were the One-Winged Eagles or something like that, not the Tigers...;-))
Thank you for asking!
Just real busy. We have a local Tea Party candidate we are trying to send to the state house. He needs to replace a 28 year democrat incumbent. It is a long shot.
This last week is very long. Not sleeping too well and very anxious for the election to be over.
Am I confused?
Hope that does not happen. The blue skies here have turned threatening again and the wind continues. Walking outside feels like the guys on the weather channel when they are standing in the wind before the hurricane hits.
I think Joy needs a truckload of valium.
Prayers for you Jem. That is not something I would do well at either. I am awful at asking for money or favors.
We have a big maple tree in the back yard; I started counting downed branches, stopped at 20 because I was getting blown away.;-)
The strangest thing I saw today: a flock of geese in formation, way up in the sky, flapping their wings like crazy...........AND NOT GOING ANYWHERE. Finally they split up ("every man for himself!!!") and headed for lower ground.;-)
60,000 w/o power in this part of the state..
You are not confused. That is us. Toby and I will be competitors this Saturday.
But, Bit, you are correct about our battle cry being WAR EAGLE. There is a bit of a story behind it, but let me cut to the chase.
We yell, “War Eagle” and we claim a golden eagle as part of our tradition. Always a golden eagle and the official name of it is, “Tiger.”
Our mascot is a Tiger. That is official and true and proper.
We are also called “The Plainsmen” and refer to this town as “The Loveliest Village.”
I hope this clears things up.
We are awful at it. We’ve been awful at it since 1993. We also prefer not to think that it is “asking for money,” but really a tangible way for others to partner with us in this ministry. Quite literally, we cannot do this work without the partnership of those who, for whatever reason, are not able to go to Papua themselves. So, it is a true partnership.
Yet, it is downright scary to approach people like this. I don’t want to put pressure on people. I don’t know anyone else’s situation and they may not be able to partner with us at this time.
