My grandson just headed off to his first national guard drill. Basic is in February then he has about 8 months of special computer school in Arkansas.
I feel downright ancient this morning! I know it will be too damned quiet around here.
Thanks to your family for your service. All the best to him.
It gets quiet...then the great-grand children come (8^D). Thank your grandson for us all, and hang in there.
If he’s like you; I’m sure he’ll do just fine.
Do him and all of us a favor and use your strength to make sure the lib democrats do not get more control of the military
Blessings to you and your family. You’ve done right by all of us, as any family has that raises yet another patriot willing to defend our nation.
I'll keep fighting the bastards to my last breath, whatever I can do.
I’m with you. My son left for Marine boot camp on Monday and this week as been very quiet and emotional. He’s following in his father’s footsteps and we are very proud of him, but it seems to have happened way to quickly. Congratulations and thank you for your families dedication to freedom.
I told him to just make sure he came out with training that would transfer to civilian life.
Congratulations! You must be so proud. My son is USMC and I’m retired AF. If the election won’t keep you busy enough, go to anysoldier.com and pick out some of our nation’s finest to bless with your strength, optimism and material support. The fight doesn’t end when we take off the uniform, right? “Support, protect and defend the Constitution” has NO expiration date. We all need you in the fight. BTW-always enjoy your postings. You’re a true Patriot!
