There once were $10,000 bills...totally legal tender.I wonder if you can still spend them...deposit them in a bank...or,at least,bring them to a Federal Reserve Bank and get cash that’s actually spendable (assuming you can’t spend the bigger one).

A billion, gazillion, zazillion...... Yen When I was kid (1950's/1960's) my Dad used to travel to Japan quite often for business.He always used to say that when exchanging dollars for yen that is would have been easier to weigh it than count it.

When I was in Korea in the mid 90’s the exchange rate generally ran between 1,500 - 2,000 Won per dollar. I used to joke with my friends about always carrying a couple grand around in my wallet ;-)
