Dancing With the Stars week 5 performance show is Oct. 18, and it could mean that Bristol Palin is eliminated on Oct. 19. The past two weeks have seen her and dancing partner Mark Ballas consistently at the bottom of the weekly scoreboard.
Both times Palin and Ballas have been just ahead of the lowest scoring couple, getting saved each week, despite being placed in jeopardy by the combination of judges' scores and audience home votes.
Last week, Palin and Ballas were eighth place out of nine couples, just ahead of The Situation and Karina Smirnoff during week 4 of Dancing With the Stars. It was down to these two couples at the end of the show, and it was The Situation and Smirnoff who were sent home.
The previous week, Palin and Ballas were just ahead of Margaret Cho and Louis Van Amstel, but it was Cho and Van Amstel who went home. Now all of the low-scoring couples have been voted off the show, leaving Palin and Ballas very vulnerable at the bottom of the scoring so far this season.
As with any reality competition show, things can shift from week to week, and it could lead to Palin and Ballas putting up their best scores of the season.
So far in the season, Palin and Ballas have averaged a score of 18 out of 30, which isn't good by any stretch of the imagination. Maybe this is the week where they really impress the judges, though, making their elimination a rash prediction.
The Oct. 18 Dancing With the Stars performance begins at 8 p.m. on ABC, with the promotions for the show stating that they will all be dancing to TV theme songs.

Im just going to say it. I dont care for Jennifer all that much. Its like she expects to win... No good
Bristol's safe...
Good Lord, where has the modesty gone? That dancing is so seductive and sexy...makes it unpleasant to watch!
She did!
There is something weird about tonight.
I can’t believe Rick Fox and Jennifer Grey are in jeopardy.
I thought she was ok until the diva moment. I’m sure she expects to win.
I know!
Agreed!!
I bet that’s it!
If I tried that, I’d have to go in for immediate knee replacement.
Right??? I know...it is kinda weird. What gives?
We were all taken by surprise....LOL
Ya, that’s fine with me too, it’s like survivor, it’s really not about surviving, it’s about being like or not, you just have to go with it ...
I think they did it like that because everyone expected Disney Kid and Bristol to be in the bottom two.
So, to keep viewers tuned in..they released the news first as they have a bunch of craptastic filler tonight.
Amen to that — Go Rangers, I mean.
Florence is history....
Awwwww man you serious..I hope not.. I really like Florence
Audrina is safe.
Florence is still in jeopardy.
This season is weak. Jennifer is unrecognizable with all her plastic surgery. I would have never thought it was her unless I was told it was her.
I watched tonight and that huge grotesque monkey suit definitely threw Bristol off stride.
I think she’ll do better next week.
