Dang, Blackie...10 years has sure taken its toll on us! As I was trying to recall names from Jarbidge, K.Falls, there were so MANY that have left us. Please ping anyone else who you can think of (living that is!!)
Barb loved your tribute to redrock, too.
Sorry to hear this. Another brother gone to his rest.
He put up quite the fight.
You are home now, Mike.
Rest in Peace.
Prayers for all his loved ones... including fellow freepers...
Thanks for your post AuntB...that’s the ‘redrock’ I know...
Hugs to you.
Hugs to you too, amom. Always good to see you...next time better circumstances, ok?
Good to see you too AuntB. Next time under better circumstances indeed.
We walked among the crosses The Chaplin led a prayer They came from every city I felt a little guilty Now the services are over Thanks for what you've given |
Such a beautiful tribute to Mike. Thank you so much, AuntB, for sharing your words.
Thanks for the ping.
Redrock was one of the nicest people on here. I have very fond memories of differing from his veiwpoint and not have the discussion devolve into a screamfest.
Redrock was a true gentleman and he will be missed.
Thanks for the ping, AuntB. I apologize for being so tardy in replying. I really, really, really hate this sort of news. Even after six-months have gone by, it’s the sort of thing I hate. When a Brother is taken in death, it leaves me mentally numb, with little to say. I’ve got the memories of Jarbidge and Klamath Falls but, still, I’ll miss him. At least, until the Resurrection out from among the dead. Then, there will be a joyous reunion. I can hardly wait!
Talk about late!!! This is the first time I saw your post.
Hugs!
Remembering a patriot.
The man who set the water free!
