While George is completely out of it, oddly enough, Ringo seems fine. Paul is buzzed, as well as John.

Henley barely even wrote music. Frey’s solo career peetered out after a few years. Joe Walsh is more a guitar hero than a composer. Whereas Paul McCartney is one of the most gifted popular musicians of the 20th century. You can compare him with the George Gershwin and the great Tin Pan Alley guys.
