Popular Science ^

Just thought this was funny. I am not math wizard but I am pretty sure that 23 months is not equal to 1 year.

In the year 2525 - Muslim NASA will try to get to the moon. The reason is they think there are infidels up there that need to be killed.

Old joke but what the hell: Muslim NASA decides to out do everyone, they intend to land on the sun. When asked, spokesman said sure we know it is very hot and would melt any metal but we smart, we landing at night.

I’m sure it has something to do with the space/time continuum.

Every time I read stories like this it gives much more credibility to the urban legend that the astronauts did not actually land on the moon but that the whole thing was made up. So I can’t make up my mind whether or not this is a funny story or a sad story about NASA.

...and is celebrating the “Year of the Solar System” to mark the occasion. Twenty-three months is actually a Martian year, so hey, it works...

As an aside, the Mars Landers teams were given "Martian-solar-day" watches to determine their work periods, since they "preferred" to operate the solar power vehicles in daylight.

23 = 12 is normal government spending math, where only 190% cost is considered ‘under budget’.

Works so good when paying for projects, why not extend the benefits to time, as well?
