This is not a solicitation on my part. I just thought the Guided Tour and the downloads might be interesting to some fans of the genre.

I don’t know if this would be of interest to aviation folks or not.

The Eagle was one of my favorite sci-fi ships. That, the ones from 2001 and the ones from the first season of Babylon 5 were the only ones that ever looked real. Ships like the Enterprise and the Imperial Star Destroyer looked cool, but were all wrong for operation in the airless vacuum of space. They were two dimensional ships in a three dimensional world.

Great concepts, all......My absolute favorite from a series that disappointed me greatly in the end (BSG) was the Colony invasion/rescue of the trapped New Caprica? inhabitants from the Cylons.
Galactica FTL's in - upper atmosphere - launches all Vipers while perilously dropping (burning, falling apart, etc.) and then FTL's at the last second of the plunge.....very good!!!!

How about the ones in
The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension?
They were modeled on seashells.

Actually when it comes to really bad cinima I prefer Plan-9 from outer space. They were modeled on hubcaps. Oh wait they were hubcaps.

The coolest thing about Galactica was the realism. When Galactica FTL’d out they factored in the wind rushing in to replace the volume of a mile-long ship vanishing.

Yes, somebody had a flash of tactical genious with that trick.....

That might have been the best SciFi ship scene, ever. I must have watched it 30 times.

The live Rifftrax of Plan 9 was so funny I never wanted to laugh again.
