Without Happy Meals I wouldn’t have such fond memories of having the grandkids when I clean my car after I babysit them.

McDonalds: Feeding the poor better than the government ever did, and with more dignity, too.

Reminds me of when some wag told my mentor, a great fisherman, that the fish in Pretty Buoy Dam in Maryland had WORMS in them. His reply: Best tasting worms I ever ate!!

Also, in my daughter’s science class they wanted to do some mold cultures on baked goods. The teacher told them not to use Entenmann’s brand because they had so many preservatives that mold wouldn’t grow on them. I don’t know about THAT, but they TASTE GOOD anyhow!

I wish these do-gooders would spend time telling people how to eat a healthy meal at McDonald's or other fast-food restaurants. When I'm on vacation, a sausage burrito, non-fat milk and apple dippers are about as healthy a meal as I'm going to get.

The problem isn't just McDonald's. Most of our food, even that which is supposedly "fresh" is actually a manufactured product that got to us over thousands of miles in huge semis, along polluted interstates. Yum.

If anything, McDonald's and some of the other chains might be better than the fresh-food section of the nearby grocery store chain.

Then there's the thought that it's none of the feds damn business what I want to eat. It's their job to keep the food supply safe, and they've been failing miserably at that.

grrr.....

Low moisture on a surface means mold can't grow, which means the food can't decay.

I'd invite Ms. Davies, Prof. Swanson, and the upi to have a look in the back of my minivan for contrary evidence.

Fat and salt are my personal favorites. Much better than sugar for my unsweet tooth.

Pretty much any salted food will stay preserved if kept cool and dry. That’s why salt was so prized in the good old days.

A big “duh” and go learn about history.

If I rub myself in fat instead of showering, will I stay forever young?

Hummm, apparently she has never had a grandchild throw their happy meal under the car seat only to be found two weeks later nearly liquified in that same happy meal box.

If the food hadn’t decayed any, why didn’t the photographer eat it? Well, of course it was in the process of decaying, that’s why. Just trying to make political points.

A heck of a lot of the ingredients in Happy Meals and other foods we eat comes delivered to processing centers in railroad tank-cars. So What? I’m cool with that. Nanney-Staters. Always looking to stick their noses in somewhere.

I have a theory about McDonald’s, that is, everything they make is all one thing, and in the back they have this big vat full of this stuff, these little molds combining, like SPLURT ‘Hamburger!’ SPLURT ‘Malt!’ SPLURT ‘Paper box!’ SPLURT ‘Here’s your change, thank you!’

Mcdonalds doesn’t serve very many items that are actually food. The nuggets are more msg than chicken. Most of their stuff has flavorants that are pure neurotoxins. Neurotoxins are more potent on young children. The msg acts like crack, making you want more.
