Two things: What in the world is the Vice President of the US doing an intro for a TV show?
Second: Tony Curtis has died. I think I’ll watch Operation Petticoat this weekend.
lysie, how'd it go yesterday??
Bit, thank you for answering my query about Goldberg's piece. It sure didn't go in the direction I thought it would..still forming some thoughts in my head, but yes, cynicism is the mode of the day...Why isn't the Left more careful about over-promising big government's benefits as the resulting letdowns so undermine their Utopian goals? The Left firmly believes we're stupid and won't notice...is that it?
RIP, Tony Curtis.
I have been only so so on Tony Curtis, did go to some of this pictures at the ‘picture show’. I have never been so gung ho on movies but got to tell you, when I was a little boy Tex Riter came to Greenville and he picked me to come on the stage with hi,. I couldn’t talk, froze up, could not move a finger.......while on ‘stars’, I did meet Van Johnson in Memphis, just went to his room and knoced on his door and one of his hands let me in, real nice fellow, sent me to get my sister who was about 14 and she almost died when she saw him....
