With all the stress we are experiencing due the direction our country is headed, I thought I would try something a little different and fun for openers. Name your favorite television comedy/variety shows from the 60s-90s. What actor/actress made that show great?
Where are you calling today?
Good morning.
Thanks for the start and breakfast........And that sunrise, Jem, was stunning.
Ed Sullivan, Red Skelton, Ozzie and Harriet, ........Ed was in the 50s, though, wasn’t he? Always looked forward to comedic routines on his shows.....I Love Lucy......I’m dating myself!
Oh yes, and The Andy Williams Show was a favorite.....
Where are you going? Dinner, movies, dancing?
McConnell and fossils like him still aren’t getting it!
Off to a busy day..
I remember those shows well, also, LB. You're not alone in your "datedness"!
Ha. Only place I go to is the grocery store and an occasional quick errand. Hubby is doing well but still needs assistance with some things, plus I need to monitor him so that he doesn’t get into any trouble.
;o)
I am so glad football season is in full swing. He LOVES it!
You are welcome to come here and cheer your favorite team on this game day!
Who are THE DAWGS playing today?
In case I haven’t mentioned it, AUBURN (War Eagle!) is on ESPN again tonight.
How could I forget The Perry Como Show?
Nancy Pelosi thinks having Colbert ‘testify’ before House committees is a great way to spend their time (when they should be making the tax cuts permanent)...but just try to bring up the notion that her power might be limited by the Constitution and she thinks YOU’RE kidding...;-))
Yes. No one could keep a straight face with Tim Conway.
AMEN! AMEN!
Good morning, Brother!
Good Morning Everyone! It’s been a hectic week,, and the rest of the weekend will be the same.
Things are getting ‘interesting’. There have been 5 Negative mailers sent out against me in the last 10 days.
I am trying to hold on to my money and hold my tongue.
Prayers up!
HOWDY, HOWDY.
GOD’S BEST TO YOU.
Combat Vic Morrow
Northern Exposure
Rob Morrow ................ Doctor Joel Fleischman
Janine Turner ............. Maggie O'Connell
John Corbett .............. Chris Stevens
Barry Corbin .............. Maurice Minnifield
Cynthia Geary ............. Shelly Tambo
Darren E. Burrows ......... Ed Chigliak
Elaine Miles .............. Marilyn Whirlwind
Peg Phillips .............. Ruth-Anne Miller
John Cullum ............... Holling Viincouer
Loved those shows. I remember crying as a boy when General Frank Savage was lost in his final episode of Twelve O'Clock High. They brought in Paul Burke, as Colonel Gallagher to take command of the 518th. (?)
