Obamas science Czar John Holdren has decided the new name for global warming, er, climate change shall be:
Because the first two didnt work apparently.
(CNSNews.com) - John Holdren, director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, says that the term global warming is a dangerous misnomer that should be replaced with global climate disruption.
I have a new name for Mr. Holdren, sort of like a superhero name: Johnny Desperate.
From CNS news and the American Thinker, barf bag optional.

Isn’t Holdren the dope that thought there were too many people inhabiting the earth? Does he have a new term for babys too?
Not sure if he is the one,...but one of the Obama Advisor’s I think has that view.

Dr. Dave says:
At the core of this claim is a fundamental political necessity its the fault of mankind. They have chipped away at the periphery and implicated other gases (e.g. CFCs, methane, NOx and SOx) but their primary target remains CO2. If you control CO2 you control energy and if you control energy you control the worlds economies. Control of economies is the ultimate measure of control (right up there with food and water).
Trouble is CO2 (in theory) can only do ONE thing make the planet slightly warmer many, many decades in the future. How does one extrapolate this into global climate disruption? They used climate change as they thought it might cover their butts in the event that it became cooler or didnt change. Most sentient individuals now see climate change for the gigantic fraud that it is. Honestly, even if the IPCCs wildly inflated claims were true, who in their right mind is going to get upset about the planet becoming 1-2 deg warmer in their lifetime? Man, its a tough sell! Time to go back to the ol playbook and start blaming every untoward weather event on humans.
Holdren doesnt even have a tattered theory to hand his hat on this time.
Shouldn’t it be “Global Wealth Redistribution”?
First it was Global Cooling and we were all going to freeze. Then it was Global Warming and we were all going to bake. Then it became Global Climate Change because they werent sure whether we would bake or freeze, but they were sure it had to do with temperature.
Now apparently its Global Climate Disruption, because they arent even sure the temperature will be any different than it otherwise would have been, but still, its going to be really bad, and its all our fault. Whatever it’s going to be the cure will be massive government intervention in the economy & massive taxation via cap and trade.
“Earth Gone Berserk” has a good ring, too!
This is comical. The control freaks are still at it push their lies. Unbelievable!
They should go back to “Global Warming” because not everybody can spell disrupsion.
It would be cheaper and far more effective if we just glued one-dollar bills all over our houses. It would provide enough insulation to offset a 1-2 degree temperature offset over the next 10-100 years.
changeover
warmingfor many years now, having realized that
changeis easier to support in the face of inconvenient facts than
warming. So, why the switch to
disruptionnow? For a clue, have a look at the Democrat Party's new logo:
The memo must have gone out: Change is good. They needed a new, more clearly negative word for their climate propaganda
Global Climate Disruption AKA Global Climate BS scam.
Holdren and Hansen should be wearing shackles on their ankles with a big iron ball attached by a chain in a prison cell. Not out of the streets making huge salaries.
At the core of this claim is a fundamental political necessity â itâs the fault of mankind. They have chipped away at the periphery and implicated other gases (e.g. CFCs, methane, NOx and SOx) but their primary target remains CO2. If you control CO2 you control energy and if you control energy you control the worldâs economies. Control of economies is the ultimate measure of control (right up there with food and water)./bingo
