Please pray for the family of a 1-month-old baby who died yesterday from apparent SIDS. This child was my son's nephew by marriage, and the baby and his single mother (my son's sister-in-law) were living with my son and his wife; thus, they had become very attached to the baby. It was the first grandchild on both sides of the family and everyone is devastated.
Since I don't think the mother's family is particularly religious, I need help storming Heaven with prayers for strength and comfort for all involved.
This is my first prayer request, but I know I can count on the prayers of fellow Freepers!

What’s going on with babies lately?
I just got word from my sister about a friend who long awaited and tried for baby was stillborn.
And there are others I’ve heard of.
There’s nothing worse than something happening to one of your children.
Prayers for all.
Dear Heavenly Father, please give comfort to the family for the loss of their child. May God’s love embrace everyone and comfort them during their time of sorrow.
Please consider having the Mother look into a survivor’s group. If your concern is also for her welfare, don’t sit by and think that you can’t help her. If you have to, call her doctor and advise him/her what you are seeing. Many SIDS survivor groups help the parents and those affected by such a loss. Just a thought.
Lord God,
Thank You for welcoming this child into Your Kingdom in Heaven.
Please fill the family with Your Holy Spirit to console them.
