I don't normally read the blog comments following articles but today I did - and
this one is wonderful:
When you think that you're the smartest people in the room, think you know it all and that you are born to rule, it's difficult to see the truth. The Democrats have lied to themselves so often that it's become a way of life. They've lied to the rest of the country so often that they don't know how to to do anything else. Their problem is -- Americans figured out they were liars a long time ago, and now we don't trust them with the reins of power, and won't for a long time. They also thought they could steal and/or buy votes with stimulus money and the help of ACORN and those who will not prosecute them. Let's hope we win big so their money and their illegal activity won't do them any good. Then let's sit back and watch their heads explode.

Here's a WSJ article that was subscription but now looks like it's all there:
The Obama Heyday Is Over - Kim Strassel, WSJ
...in which the author makes the case that no matter who wins in November, any Democrats still remaining will have to say NO to Nobama's agenda in order to survive...love it...;-))

Seems to me O is gonna play the Bush card, the tax the rich card, the “capitalists are evil” card, and whatever else his little voices tell him until hell freezes over. It worked before

Good Morning Mozie!!!
Great article on line by Lori Nickels on Aaron Rodgers. It appears a lot of hard core Brett Favre fans were unmercifully nasty to him during that whole controversy with Brett. He took it all in stride and showed true character.
Much more than I can say about that other fellow.

I saw the article on the 'Kenyan Anti-Colonialism' stuff the other day, and it's plausible but I don't think it ends there. He may have gotten the sentiment from his father, but Nobama is now on a Carteresque trajectory infused with the kind of liberal pap that only a Columbia education could perfect in a good little Marxist such as himself.
And I remember reading somewhere that Nobama said (either in one of his books or an interview or both) that his political views were formed in the 80's, and that he vowed that if he ever got into a position of power he would work tirelessly to 'reverse everything Ronald Reagan had ever done.' Something like that.
Clinton was a genius with triangulation (a scumbag, but a political genius scumbag). Nobama can only play one tune. So I don't think he could bring himself to do what's right for the economy and for liberty's sake, short of actual impeachment (and merely threatening it would not work), and I think it's more than just the Kenyan influence -- he really believes his own tauroscatology...;-))

Good morning Molly. Great article by Victor Davis Hanson.
If the Imam Raufs of America would spend three times as much time condemning madrassas, Wahabbism, anti-Muslim oppression by others abroad, and the silence of so many in the Muslim community about the radicalism that spreads among them as they do warning us to be more liberal or else then there would be far fewer Major Hasans, and his fellow zealots who on over 30 occasions have tried to trump the mass murder of 9/11.
Exactly!!

AAAAACK! His mother is one wild gal...
The Am. Spectator article and comment were more...much more...agreeable.
Thanks for the Strassel link, Bit. I noticed that Thurs's Henninger piece was limited. Maybe it too, is now completely accessible.

I think there are several disturbing threads & reasons to 0's strangeness, dangerous political obtuseness, left wing radicalism, and odd laziness & thin skinned-ness. They can be at play at different times and in varying combinations.
If he were still at Chicago Law school, few of us would know about them.
But unfortunately some of his "history" is what propelled him further, and attracted a cult like following to help him get where he is.
It's all bizarre, totally bizarre and makes my head hurt too much .
