Dear FRiends,
Please send prayers up for my nephew and my family. His wife and beautiful 13 year old daughter were killed in the San Bruno fire yesterday. Mercifully he and his 15 year old daughter had left with my sister only a few minutes before the explosion but materially he has lost everything and I can only imagine the horror he is suffering at losing his beloved wife and daughter.
My family in the Bay Area is large and they will be doing everything humanly possible to care for them in these trying times but prayers are always welcome. I have turned to you all several times in the past and I consider all FReepers an extended family so please offer up some words of comfort and prayers for their souls.

How terrible. May the Spirit of Peace be with you, your nephew and extended family through this walk in the wilderness. FReepers are here to help so ask if there’s anything we can do to help.
This is such a tragedy. Prayers for your family and all the families involved in this horror. God Bless
May your nephew’s wife and daughter rest in God’s peace.
Prayers for and condolences to their family and friends.
There is little comfort for those who have lost so much at times like this. I pray that the Lord will be the strength that is needed for your nephew and his daughter. May they rely on that strength, as there is no other. Lord hear my prayer.
My prayers for the survivors and all of your family — what terrible odds that two members of your family are among those killed in a terrible event, but one with only four deceased.
May their souls and the souls of all of the Faithful Departed, Rest in Peace!
Joining with you in prayer.
Prayers up.
Peace, strength, and comfort for them in this time of need.
Continued prayers for your family, especially your nephew and his daughter.
I lived in San Bruno as a kid. I've been trying to find the exact location of the explosion. I want to see how close it was to my family's home. Do you know the names of the streets involved?
