I’d rather suggest a forced take-over of their oil-fields as compensation.
What says you?

Obama has made sure that we cannot explore or drill for our own oil. Keeping his muslim buddies happy.

Looks good on paper, but when OPEC banned exporting oil to us in the 1970’s, it was not pretty (I was a pre-teen at the time, but remember it well).

Good plan we should do it right away and drill baby drill.

I’d be happy with a net of near Zer0. I’m fine with importing oil from Canada.

Nah, I say buy all their oil at low prices. After it’s gone, all they have left is sand. Use their oil first.
... use some of it to burn some korans.

China, India and other countries would pick up the slack. The muzzies would suffer for a year just as us but then it would be back to business.

Like that’s going to happen.

The idea would be to totally ban all importation of oil to the United States while simultaneously putting the exploitation of every energy resource available to us on a war footing with emphasis on those which could be exploited most quickly.
To do that, we would first have to ban "environmentalism" which has us at the mercy of the foreign oil traders.
Once we ban the environmental wacko ideas, we can bet back to exploring and developing all of our energy needs right here at home.
No, we don't have to get rid of all environmental ideas, like clean air and clean water, but we can certainly eliminate the idea that coal and oil are dirty and are killing the planet.
If we didn't have the environmentalists (and the democratic party enabling them) interfering with the production of our own energy needs, I'm pretty sure we would now be independent from the foreign oil countries; if not completely independent of them, then for sure, we'd be at a point were we wouldn't have to kiss their collective butts.

This is one area in which liberals and conservatives can come to a meeting of the minds. Reducing the amount of oil we import is a very good thing - for the libs because it supposedly saves Gaia and stops global warning and for us because it defunds Muslims.

Anytime I clap my hands a stupid genie called the American ambassador appears to do my bidding. I guess their oil is the only POSSIBLE reason to shed American blood for these people. It begs a question: WHY THE HELL ARENT WE USING OUR OWN?? ARE WE MAD? (Dont answer that.)

What a bunch of blind eyes herein. We’re only buying 1/3 of oil from our enemies... so we’re only sending them 50 billion dollars a day? Dumb talk. We should not be transferring _any_ wealth to foreign countries, esp. not our enemies. Someone show us the stats anyway, the history of it all. Trillions to fund RIP folks who now buy our very souls with some of the posters approvals.
Buying foreign oil is a national security issue, period. We should be using our own, only.

Just so you know, we get very little of our oil from Islamic Swine. Most of it comes from Canada and Mexico. After that probably comes Venezuela.

It would be insane to ban the importation of oil from Canada, not to mention illegal. The Democrats would love to do it, though.
