A toddler is recovering in hospital after receiving 200 stitches to his face following an attack by his grandmother's dog. Joshua Mann, two, was mauled by the family collie as he stroked the animal. Horrific pictures show the extent of Joshua's injuries, with deep scars crisscrossing his face. His family have been told he will have to endure further surgery before he can return home to Brockworth, near Gloucester.

Hmmm I just seem to be having trouble with skynews in general today.
Collies can be very nasty dogs.
Don’t tell that to chet99. He is firmly convinced that only pit bulls EVER attack humans.
Oh....never mind. I guess they'll be adding collies to the list any day now. Government will keep them safe.
(if I can find a cheap copy somewhere)
Hmm, maybe try Half-Price Books?
I SOWWY. UR BEBEH HAD A FLAVR.
The scary thing is, it’s not just Chet! Alot of Freepers seem firmly convinced that since they don’t see OTPB attacks posted, they must not be happening.
OBAMA!!! Bad Dog! BAD DOG!!!
Actually, I’m suprised more toddlers don’t get bitten by dogs. I’ve seen dogs put up with a lot of abuse from little kids.
Statistics Show Children Bitten By Dogs More Often Than Adults
When looking at the statistics for dog bite attacks they show that children are bitten by dogs more often than adults and of course there are reasons for this, first on the list is children have no fear of dogs. This means every dog is cute, every dog is approachable and every dog is nice when it comes to the way children think.
There are nice dogs of course that love to play with children and then there are dogs that while nice and well behaved they have not been around children and have a fear of them. When it is this dog there is a good chance that the child could be bitten.
The statistics show that as many as sixty percent of the dog bite attacks per year are children, which means statistics show children bitten more often than adults are treated by medical professionals. Another thing that is shown from this information is that among the injuries children are bitten in the face more often, they also can be subject to sustaining injuries such as head trauma, puncture wounds and even broken bones.
You and Chet should get a room.
