Actually, I’m suprised more toddlers don’t get bitten by dogs. I’ve seen dogs put up with a lot of abuse from little kids.

Statistics Show Children Bitten By Dogs More Often Than Adults

When looking at the statistics for dog bite attacks they show that children are bitten by dogs more often than adults and of course there are reasons for this, first on the list is children have no fear of dogs. This means every dog is cute, every dog is approachable and every dog is nice when it comes to the way children think.

There are nice dogs of course that love to play with children and then there are dogs that while nice and well behaved they have not been around children and have a fear of them. When it is this dog there is a good chance that the child could be bitten.

The statistics show that as many as sixty percent of the dog bite attacks per year are children, which means statistics show children bitten more often than adults are treated by medical professionals. Another thing that is shown from this information is that among the injuries children are bitten in the face more often, they also can be subject to sustaining injuries such as head trauma, puncture wounds and even broken bones.
