The Rev. Al Sharpton says...they don't have a right to distort Martin Luther King Jr.'s vision. What he really means is he does not want anyone distorting his distortion of MLK's vision.

He says that goes against the message in King's famous "I Have a Dream Speech," in which the civil rights leader appealed to the federal government to ensure equality. Equality comes from God.

Yes, I remember Al Sharpton marching with the Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr. Wasn’t he right next to Mitt Romney’s father?

On the video, Sharpton says it’s about “passing it on from generation to generation.”
I guess that means they aren’t willing to accept their achievements, and move on to a society that is more equal than they are would like to admit.
The race baiting huckster is in danger of losing revenue should that happen.

He’s going to have egg on his face. This rally is about returning to GOD! He thinks MLK would disagree with that premise? What a boob!

Arrogant Bastid that one, Rev King is an American, not a hyphenated American, he was a Servant of the Lord first and foremost.

I find it interesting, the spitter, aka Jesse Jackson has been in Michigan most of the week going from africanhyphenamerican enclave to ahyphena enclave (Detroit, Saginaw, Flint, Inkster, Grand Rapids, Inkster, Ann Arbor, Lansing) working to stir up support for a big rally in Detroit today. The theme is for ahyphenas to take what they are owed. Big shocker there.
What is interesting to me is that the spitter is no where near DC where one would expect him to be. Maybe he's smart enough to know that "The Reverund" Al is going to get the wrong kind of attention with his counter protest.

Its nothing more than Tawanna Brawley all over again. This race pimp riding the wave of someone else and then telling the whole world that he is the only one who can speak to it.
I really hope this blows up big time in his big fat megaphone face! Think about it, the rough and tough batton bandits from the New Black Pampers Party have even backed off trying to stir up a scene as they promised.
I’ll record the event because I have to be getting some cars ready for a test session this week and can’t watch it live.

No. It counters Al Sharpton’s vision (which badly needs countering, if you ask me).
