VINEYARD HAVEN, Mass. (AP) -- President Barack Obama had a simple task for his first morning on vacation: shoot over to a Martha's Vineyard bookstore to fill out his daughters' summer reading list and grab himself a novel.

Easier said than done.

His SUV, part of a 20-vehicle motorcade, passed through a cordon of Massachusetts State Police motorcycle officers, in a protective cocoon of Secret Service agents.......

Clinton did not have an ambulance in the motorcade several years ago on the Vineyard when he signed the Treaty of the Seas.. I was there,(under duress...) Lots of secret service and evident machine gun mounted in an SUV...NO Ambulance...There are helicopters,with engines running 24/7 on the Island and on Cape Cod at the AFB. Med evac???

There was a bunch of advance work done for Clinton's '97 Vineyard visit: streets were cleared, shops were secured, and sharpshooters were mounted on the tops of buildings where his motorcade passed. There was lots of security for Clinton but not anything resembling a mobile army unit.

They are absolutely not photoshopped. I have posted several pictures from when he was campaigning where you can see it as well.

There is a black poster here that thinks they are a matter of the way Obama grooms himself with his nappy hair.

Those are not grooming parts in his hair, they are scars.

Months ago we had a thread on it, and there were a few photos from the rear taken oin differet occasions that showed them as consistent.

I like to think that he had the crap beat out of him once.
