Following the footsteps of Irvine-based In-N-Out Burger, Del Taco plans to expand its Southern California brand to Texas.

Have you tried El Taquito on East Grand and RLT? I had to stop by there on my last visit to Dallas.
My problem? I post about Del Taco coming to Texas, creating hundreds of jobs, 70 to 80 stores, pretty good food....and among other things I read....”Californians should get out of Texas and take their shitte food with em”....and “just what Texas needs another Taco stand”.....”I feel sorry for Texans”...etc etc. etc.
I have no problem.....Most Texans are cool.....nice.
But some are pricks....now...what’s your problem?
“If the Californians moved back to where they came from it would be places like Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and assorted cold places. The California paradise was ruined by people importing themselves into it from across the country. Lets ease up on Californians “
AMEN!! and AMEN!!
Amen!
I always misspell it .......my bad.. “marie callendars”
The Original full restaurant is in the city of Orange, CA. On Tustin....been there many times....great old pictures on the wall there.....
The only problem I have with you is not your tacos but your foul language. That is not needed to express yourself. name calling is not cool.
A witness first reported the sewage in the kitchen to the San Diego County Department of Environmental Health after he smelled it on Thanksgiving, and health inspectors gave the restaurant a citation. But on Monday, the city of Carlsbad's Wastewater Division gave the restaurant's manager the opportunity to close ---- or have the water supply cut off ---- after witnesses reported a flow of sewage running from Marie Callender's into a storm drain leading to Cannon Lake.
Ugh. I cant go back.
Oh....I must have missed your admonition to the guy who started it all by saying we should take our “shitte” back to Ca.
Just kidding about the cat! But yeah, you can't walk too many blocks before running into one.
I miss them! The local Mexican food around here is either Del Taco or bland ‘honkified’ sit down places. Lots of Mexicans everywhere too, and I smell them cooking some damn fine food, but for themselves! My Indian neighbors are even worse! Try eating a PB&J when they are cooking some dynamite curry right next door!!!
I think if you stopped going to restaurants that were written up by the health department at least once.....you’d pretty much have nowhere to go.......no?
Yeah. But I still can't get past that one.
Thanks for the heads up on El Fenix. I have heard both good and not so good about it......but I didn’t know they deep fried their own taco shells....i.e. not preformed Taco Bell.
As for Del Taco....I don’t care about the tacos.....those are same as I get anywhere here in Texas...it’s the burritos.the hot sauce...and the fries are great too.....
They just closed up here after only a year. So many businesses have closed and keep closing up. I really enjoyed there tacos!
Yeah...that is a tough one to get by....I agree.
There is a place here in the Dallas Metro Plex...I think in Arlington called “San Diego Tacos.” and I have been told and read I should try it....they say it’s very good.
You are delusional....California wasn't ruined by people from the midwest...it became a socialist shit hole from spoiled 2nd and 3rd generation Californians who have no work ethic. I was part of a hotel operation that opened a hotel in the early 80's out in the armpit of SoCal in Ontario....when I questioned why someone wasn't at work I was told.."The surf's up".....when I told a manager to fire the SOB...I was told...well we just have have to hire another just like him/her...that my friend is why California is in the shape they are in....."The surf isn't up anymore"...
Also Rubio’s.
In the Nashville area there was a Del Taco/Captain D’s combo store. It has since changed back to a Captain D’s
