That Iraqi food is some of the best food I've ever eaten (compared with Thai, Chinese, Dominican, Brazilian, Laotian, and Haitian), lots of rice fixed different ways, eggplant casseroles with onion, potatoes, and tomato, yogurt, fresh vegetables, Iraqi or Jordanian flatbread, fresh dates (I mean REALLY fresh--not dried out), different kinds of pickled vegetables, grilled chicken, lamb, meat-filled shells made of bulgar wheat, coffee, tea.
