I love living in the United States and love political debates!

We had an important senate election here and I proudly chose Scott Brown for senate because Martha Coakley was totally clueless and incompetent.

I looked at both candidates for president carefully. John McCain is a true military hero and even worked across the aisle on McCain-Feingold, McCain-Lieberman and McCain-Kennedy. Thry were three very good bills. However, McCain is anti-choice, anti-gay and too pro-gun.

Barack Obama was short on experience, but I liked his postions on many issues except for the middle east and he's not agressive enough on the war on terror.

I chose President Obama at the end and while he's far from perfect, I'm pleased with my choice.

I love politics and can't wait to get into it! :-) I'm new so be nice while I get used to this site!

Boston is a beautiful place with good public transit.

I don't doubt it.

I also don't doubt that Imperial Rome, glutted with the plunder from a dozen lands, looked pretty good in the sunlight.

I also understand that Hitler's art gallery was really very impressive.

But where did the money come from to pay for Boston's matchless beauty? Do you not understand that the Democrats have plundered America and its posterity in order to pay off their voters and backers?

Not just in Boston I might add. Obama - in whom you are well pleased - has seized General Motors, crushed its shareholders and given its assets to the unions.

GM is now one of the largest welfare schemes on earth, and every American taxpayer will end up paying 12,200 dollars towards it - even if GM closed tomorrow. That's how national debt works.

You are kidding, right? Unemployment in Boston has doubled in the past two years. At that, during President Bush's term, Boston's unemployment reached a record low of 2.9%. In the past two years, it has shot up to 8-9%.
