The town is using Google Earth to check on backyard
pools. ( Some pools don't have proper permits)
And of course that means hefty fines for the owners of
the 'illegal pools.'
A freind here in MD planted some flowers and a few small shrubs in an area of his yard that is considered off limits by the county. They actually took aerial photo’s and threatened a fine
Guess my idea to start a non government pot farm is off the table.
Reminds me of that film ‘Enemy of the State’ with Will Smith and Gene Hackman.

I’d buy me the biggest damn pool cover I could find and set it up in my backyard, wait for the “fine” then sue the everliving piss out of them!

Our .gov is out of control and needs to be put back in its place, if that means dissolving the whole thing and starting over then so be it.
What better form of revenue generation for a city or county to require permits for various things on a person’s PRIVATE PROPERTY.
I’m sure they got the proper warrants for the blanket city wide search too (/sarc)

I do believe this is illegal. While my building inspector has “police powers”, I believe he needs cause...just like a policeman. It usually comes in the form of a complaint.
