So far Knight&Day has grossed about 72/73 Million, take away at least 50% for the theaters, that leaves about a 58/60 Million dollar loss for the Producers. Remember how Valkyrie cost over 100 Million to produce and struggled to make a profit? SO WHERE IS THE MSM To Report The Tom Cruise Box Office Bomb? Maybe it's time for Tom Cruise to call it a night, and stop spending over 100 Million dollars to make a movie? You could of created a lot of jobs with that $117 Million !!!
That money did create jobs.
But Diaz and Cruise still got paid 20 mill a piece. What kind of country are we that we would pay a brain dead bimbo like Diaz 20 Million?
Nothing better to do today?
117 million calms could also buy a lot of mules and 40 acre lots.
Time for a bailout.
Wonder what they paid Diaz for Seth Rogen's 'Green Hornet' flick, which looks horrible...
why does Tom Cruise think he’s our modern day James Bond?
I know that wikipedia is not the best source for information, but they have the gross for this film at $161M, thus making more than $40M as profit. I don’t know what’s true.
Cruise is another Hollywood luminary who has raised his nitwit profile with his allegiance to Scientology and some political stances, as well as general overexposure in the celebrity media. Poetic justice if these are contributing to his decline at the box office.
Maybe some day Hollywood will learn that around half the nation is very uninterested in their self-indulgences and political opinions.
Maybe ever since Tom Cruise danced on Oprah’s couch, he let us all down and lost half of his box office fans?
Hollywood wasting that money is a good thing. If they overspend making “action thrillers,” they have less to spend making “thoughtful” advocacy films.
Maybe America isn’t all that excited about watching a couple of homosexuals pretending to have sex?
Pray for America
What kind of country are we that we would pay a brain dead bimbo like Diaz 20 Million?
Yakov Smirnoff..."What a country!!!" ;)
They wasted a lot of money on this stink bomb, but at the end of the day, who cares. It’s Hollywood’s money not mine. As long as no taxpayer funds are involved it’s their business. Maybe the vapid idiots in Hollywood will wise up and make movies people will want to see. As long as 0bie doesn’t declare the studios “too big to fail” they can keep releasing these turds and I’ll continue not seeing them.
Phooey... A republican Congress is needed to do that.. but then Maine has problems electing someone that does not roll their eyes, drool and make noises... as does Mass., Conn., Vermont, New York, Jersey and Penn..
“could of” ???
at 117M,even if the movie brought in 117M,about 60M goes to the box-office,at 161,at least 80-85M,They have a ways to go and it’s tanking in the top 20!
