I posted this a year or 2 ago, and it had a pretty good response - what are your goals before you die? (Leave having a woman of every different race out, because who doesn't?). I'm always interested to see what other people want to do, because I will think, hey - that could be fun!
So....
Mine are (in no order)
Learn fluent Spanish.
Visit Machu Picchu.
Visit Russia.
Skydive.
Buy a Porsche.
Finally learn the guitar.
Have a farm.
Be self employed.
See the Pyramids.
I started working at 18, got married at 20, daddy at 21, spent most of my time making a living for them, yet I still had time to have some adventures! Raising a family was the greatest adventure of all. So many adventures are fleeting, but a family remains forever. I now go bike riding with my grandson. How much more fun can you have?
Love your attitude, friend. That’s the way to live!
We spent one Easter week in Aviemore, a ski area in the Highlands. Of course, we were tucked into a place and not driving and sight-seeing, but it was just beautiful. Dry snow vs ice storms, just very beautiful. We got wonderful sweaters there, too.
I bet around London is quite a bit damper, with the river and oceans so close, and no altitude. And then those wondrous mashed green peas that glow in the dark. But such great history.
