Ramygala, a Lithuanian village 150 kilometers from the capital Vilnius, hosted a weird beauty contest to crown the most beautiful goat.
On July 5th, the inhabitants of Ramygala gathered on the outskirts of the village to watch the traditional goat beauty contest held to commemorate the 640th anniversary of the village, which is this years capital of Lithuanian culture.
The goat has been the symbol of Ramygala ever since medieval times, and its still valued by the locals. A total of 13 goats entered the beauty contest, but only one of them claimed the title of most beautiful goat in Ramygala. Grazyolyte, a good-looking white goat, was crowned the winner of the event and made his owner proud.
Thank you.

Thank you so much for the ping. I must ping a couple of others who will also find this of great interest.
What a cute goat!
Had to post for a humor break - there is only one website for me (second to FR) - farm animals dot com. LOL. (kidding-no pun intended)
Saw your “about” page. Dan’s bake sale. Definitely underrated. The build up to that was obviously Rush’s radio show. Conservative/republicans were divided and in the wilderness for so long. Rush built an active coalition by design or default. This led to the hug-fest of like-minded folks in Colorado to help Dan get a subscription to the Limbaugh Letter. It was truly a watershed event in the conservative movement.
Oh, my, yes! I think that's what I was trying to remind people of when I put that up there. We must never lose sight of it. It was the day we woke up and realized there were more than a few of us out there, and we could get together. It's the prototype for a real tea party event, like DC last year, with 2 million.
